Orgasm Frequency
« on: April 23, 2011, 04:29:29 PM »
Why haven't we done this one yet?

There are those of us that can "O" quite often, others that die with more than 1 per wk.

What is your average frequency?
WITHOUT RESEARCH THERE WILL BE NO CURE!
Sessions 5 to 9 days, mostly Flu-like, joints, digestion problems, light cognitive.
Niacin has changed my lif though, now 1 day MAX.
Somewhere in this interaction with Niacin is the answer!

I voted >2 per week, but I "O" about 3 to 4 times a day sometimes more or less. It takes me about 3 or 4 days without an "O" to recover from most of my POIS symptoms which as I've said before leaves me in a constant state of POIS.

While in POIS I find that my amount of self-control is severely restricted which may be why I am unable to control my frequency of "O"s.

OK, that would be the last option. It should read longer than once in 2wks. Ill see if I can edit it to read more clearly.

Used to be once in a week. Because I wanted some day's to be POIS-free. Than once in 2 weeks. Now once a month. Only for the injections.
POIS since 2000. Very bad since 2008. I knew that I have POIS since June 2010. Desensitization since March 2011. I stopped with desens in July 2016. I have 50% less POIS. And only 1 day of POIS. Purified CBD works for me, but I am allergic for CBD.

I "o" pritty much every other day, so im in a perpetual state of vegetation....
the poll definitely needs to reflect the different variances to be accurate, or else its really not worth doing..

In this poll you'd be in the first category then. Your frequency is greater than twice per week.

If there's someone with POIS who does it twice a day and another who does it once every two days, they're both in the same category.

For most of us, once a week is a lot!

I avoid the O as much as possible.  I hate the effects of POIS!  But I also can't resist the O, so that sucks too. :(

The only problem I find is that in the 'POIS' period I am useless, cannot do anything, literally, out of POIS I'm transformed into a different person, POIS screwes with your head badly.

I voted 2 per week. In order to have 2 or 3 POIS-free days it really needs to be once per week or once every ten days to lead a more 'normal' life. But.. it's difficult to resist having an O at times.

I used to have an O  twice a week, sometimes more. But my POIS problems increasing the last 6 months from about one day to 4 days make it necessary to reduce O, if possibly !   ???

I'm in my mid 20s and libido is two high for me to really go lower than twice a week. On average I try to range from 3-4 times per week though with tremendous restraint because of high sex drive. I cannot function at all having an O every day but my libido is there or above. I do have slightly high testosterone though which can explain this behavior despite the negative health impacts. I find tremendous amounts of exercise slows me down so thats what I do.
37 yo M- POIS for 25yrs (since age 12). Chronic POIS- always there

Tried desensitization for 1.5yrs & was unsuccessful (POIS worse at 1/1000)

Exercising- (running/weights/situps) Low sugar diet. Supplements- limited success.Meds- Oxcarbazepine/Buspar (past-Depakote10yrs)
