Hey Kurtosis,
As posted in the other thread - Here's what I'm taking.
Morning:
100mg Now Foods Co-Enzyme B Complex
250mg Magnesium
120mg Ginko
2 Tablets of Now Foods Spirulina
2 Tablets of Now Foods Krill Oil
2 Tablets of Fish Oil
Afternoon:
4 Tablets Fish Oil
60mg Ginko
Evening:
Usually only 4 Tablets of Fish Oil
On Evenings that I plan to O, I will take another Co-Enzyme Tablet along with 300mg of Niacin.
I'm not taking any Taurine or acetyl l-carnitine at the moment because I have been able to find it in tablet form here just yet. I'll keep looking as they sound promising.
Re: Kurtosis Regimen.....I guess this has become a bit of a loose term for 'A B Complex regimen, with some Ginko and whatever else tickles your fancy' :-) You were the man that started it so its got your name on it :-)
Sorry, you had responded to me already
Lost in the many threads of poiscenter.
Do you eat a lot of protein, besides spirulina? Spirulina is good for raising dopamine levels as it has a lot of tyrosine / kg but it's not so useful if you want to increase GABA. In that case dairy is better as it contains glutamine and taurine.
I've done 2 things that have made a big difference over the past few weeks. I've added some yoghurt and very low lactose whey protein to my diet and reduced the amount of spirulina. And I swapped the huperzine for carnitine complex.
If you can stomach some whey then have a go. Otherwise you might need to add some L-taurine to your spirulina. It should be available in every health food shop and is a very cheap ingredient.
I have to buy most stuff online here. Everything from ginkgo to st john's wort is on a prescription-only list & to-date I haven't met a doctor who would prescribe a herbal treatment as opposed to the product of a large drug company. But hey, if I really wanted to be prescribed every single anti-depressant known to man then this is a great place to live
