I answered no, although I had a vasectomy AND a vasectomy reversal.

So I've had "professional work" donw there but don't consider them as problems!

This doesn't negate the fact that these operations hadn't had some effect over POIS.

WITHOUT RESEARCH THERE WILL BE NO CURE!
Sessions 5 to 9 days, mostly Flu-like, joints, digestion problems, light cognitive.
Niacin has changed my lif though, now 1 day MAX.
Somewhere in this interaction with Niacin is the answer!

ok thanks.
i'm trying to understand if there is a common cause for ours imbalances in neurotrasmitters, hormones or whatever.
but if at least one person has said 'no' this is not the case.
I had some problem, but maybe it was the effect of the imbalance itself.
now i costantly have a very mild uti and baanitis,  but maybe is because of some methabolic issue.
or maybe because of the semen losses.
who knows?

It's very hard to nail a poll down. The conditions have to be very clear and one has to really know what the answers mean.

But at least, each one is a starting point. A second one can be more specific or whatever, depending on the results of the first.

they are not recommended in case of pelvic floor spasm

I also have nocturia.

Oxybutinin helps me.

I had an undescended testicle at birth, corrected by surgery.

Some people feel genital trauma such as this might be a contributor to POIS.

Let's find out through medical research. Like NORD (hint : - )

I have extreme pain, but luckily no infections. Urination stream and consistency varies according to when I last ejaculated or was sexual excited. I tend to have a very poor urination stream close to ejaculation which gets increasingly better as my bodily inflammation and fluid retention goes down (this process takes days, not hours to be clear).

I don't think I've had any urinary tract infections, but there is always a slight burning sensation when I urinate and I have to go more frequently than I used to.. I attribute this to inflammation from POIS.
Taking ginger tea, no wheat, fenugreek+green tea/garlic, saw palmetto, niacin, boswellia, huperzine, B complex and nutmeg. See my treatment summary post for more info: http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=81.msg3513#msg3513

Np Bois,
My frequency of urination also goes up while fluid retention is high in the days following orgasm similar to what Vincent described.
