Candidase is a special product to combat candida overgrowth in the gut, and which does not produce as many side effects as many other anti-candida agents.

Description
Candidase, Anti-Candida, 84 capsules

Candidase is a specialized product designed to combat candida overgrowth in the intestines, with fewer side effects compared to many other anti-candida remedies. Candida albicans is a yeast-like fungus that normally resides in a healthy balance in the body, primarily in the intestines, genitals, mouth, and throat. When this balance is disrupted, it can lead to overgrowth, a condition known as Candidiasis, where the fungus travels throughout the body via the bloodstream. It affects both men and women, manifesting as thrush in the mouth and vaginitis (yeast infection) in women.

Symptoms of candida overgrowth include:

New food allergies, fatigue, poor digestion, gas, heartburn, sugar cravings, irritability, frequent headaches, poor memory, brain fog, dizziness, recurring depression, vaginal infections, menstrual difficulties, prostatitis, urinary tract infections, hay fever, sinusitis, chronic cough, susceptibility to colds, sore throat, athlete's foot, skin rashes, psoriasis, cold extremities, arthritis-like symptoms.

Enzymes can assist in addressing this overgrowth for three reasons:

Individuals with Candida overgrowth often have a large amount of undigested fiber in the colon. It's believed that the mucus naturally produced due to the difficulty in digesting this fiber (cellulose) may protect Candida from the body's defense mechanisms meant to prevent overgrowth. Cellulase is the enzyme that breaks down fiber and is the only digestive enzyme our body doesn't produce on its own. By supplementing with cellulase, this fiber can be removed along with inappropriate mucus, restoring balance to the body.
Fungi (Candida) contain fungal cellulose, a compound called chitin. Chitin is a polysaccharide (carbohydrate) structurally similar to cellulose. Just as cellulase can remove undigested fiber in the colon, it can also break down chitin.
The interior of yeast cells is mostly protein. The enzyme protease has the ability to hydrolyze (digest) protein. Protease has been used in clinics worldwide to break down this fungus and prevent its overgrowth. Adding protease to this remedy helps the body manage the "die-off" effect, or common cleansing symptoms. When the fungus dies, one may temporarily feel worse.

How to use Candidase:

For moderate symptoms, take 2 capsules, 3 times per day at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal for 7 days (for maintenance, take 2 per day). For acute symptoms, take 2 capsules, 3 times per day at least 1/2 hour before or 2 hours after a meal for 14 days. In extreme cases, the remedy may be taken for a longer duration. For chronic candida, which stems from undigested carbohydrate residues in the intestines, Candidase can be combined with enzymes containing amylase and glucoamylase, e.g., ZyCarb.

Contraindication: Candidase should not be taken with any medication using timed-release that utilizes cellulose as its release mechanism.
