Why does sexual arousal gives me major symptoms?
« on: December 02, 2023, 03:19:18 PM »
Hey all,

I've been on this forum for some months and I'm still trying some things out.

I do have POTS, POIS and food sensitivities. POIS started this year February.

I abstained for the whole month and I did great. I tried 15 min masturbation without orgasm, but it still gives me majos POIS-symptoms, peaked after 2-3 days and the symptoms are now declining (after day 5), will be better probably next week Monday.

It seems like that 15 minutes of masturbations gives 1 week POIS symptoms.
I watched a sexual scene from a movie yesterday and I immediatly feel symptoms for a few seconds
Two weeks ago 3 mins fantasising gives me minor symptoms for 5 hours

The symptoms are bad concentration, extreme fatigue for 3 days. The fatigue resolves is the whole week.

I think the arousal is the problem and not per se orgasm of pre cum. What could this be?

Best regards,

Mattice

Do any of you have an idea why

Yeah, it happens to some poisers (me to).
The thing is, as soon as you start arousall, sexual glands are activate,
prostate gland start to produce semen, copper glands coper fluid...
chatecholamines, hormones etc start to prepare for sexual act.
Now, where the thing go wrong? Is prostate inflame CNS (trought
periphrenal organs)(trought mast cells, basophils?).
Is pois cascade start from producing sperm or
from eyaculating sperm?
Or underlying illnes(eg infection for exemple)
is cousing this? We are still in beginning to prowe this.

A olsou tested meny time after big period of abstinence,
to eyaculate fast withouth much arousall and still get brutall pois.

Hi, for me what triggers the POIS attack is not the ejaculation but the 'O' and only in minimum part arousal that would also explain the female cases. In my case definitely it is "O". Maybe is a both for some people or only one.

How do we reduce symptoms?

For me: Abstinance, stop watching adult film and get help from doctors plus read posts of this great community since it was created.

Adult movies is a real amplifier, compared to making real sex. So i try to stop to watch am.

Complete abstinence is really hard to achieve (for me) especially if i'm anxious or very stressed. Some help i get from the various supplements listed here on the forum (but ask to your doctor pls) Definitely better to live now than in the 80s/90s where you couldn't ask anyone for help or even confront without being taken for a fool. The Internet is a wonderful invention if it is used in the right way.

So we must to be positive, there is this nice community to talk with and medical trials are already underway.  :)

Even if get excited enough to produce pre-seminal fluid, you will get symptoms. This happens because pre-seminal fluid contains a portion of semen. It happens to me all the time.

The trick is to avoid arousal altogether (good luck with that!).

Unfortunatly this isnt proven yet.
Is pois cascade start when sexuall glands are activated to produce semen
or relesing semen, or some other underlying condition in us?!

Hey all,

I've been on this forum for some months and I'm still trying some things out.

I do have POTS, POIS and food sensitivities. POIS started this year February.
have tried to say here on this forum several times that the fact of ejaculating is not related to the syndrome. Because I've masturbated several times and I've had almost no symptoms and also after I started to get used to masturbating only by masturbating, the symptoms are lighter and
Another, after I started caressing my own body and ejaculating without regrets, a lot of things changed.
So, I'm coming up with some theories about the syndrome.
First, it is a chain reaction transformed into a paradigm.
As we masturbated whenever we had a problem, our organism began to understand that the release of semen represented a danger. And with that, it began to attack its own body and instead of releasing feel-good hormones, it began to release other types of hormones unrelated to well-being.
Furthermore, because we are always masturbating at shorter intervals of time and with ever more strength and intensity, the organism has acquired an addiction, in which it always wants to reach that strongest orgasm it has ever had. However, this made it increasingly difficult to achieve. And then, the body starts to manifest withdrawal symptoms, which are part of the symptoms of the syndrome that we feel.
