« on: December 21, 2021, 08:17:09 AM »
Hi,

Does anyone have experience with colonic lavage & detox and if so, did it help against pois related complaints?

Thanks!

Pois accepted, but wants to learn to live with pois and look for ways to reduce complaints.

I did 20 large-intestine enemas in a row during a period of 2 months (4 enemas each time) and it fixed the constipation issue but had no effects on POIS. I belive POIS has more to do with the small intestine since thats where the vitamins, cholesterol and fat (essential for the hormone balance) are absorbed. You cant reach the small intestines with lavage. The only way is by using a colon cleanse- or SIBOprotocol by mouth.

Two weeks after 11 days of Rifaximin I cant see any improvement. Had O last weekend and it was as bad as normal. Still much gas/bloating. Maybe I should do it again. However now I started a strong anti SIBO protocol instead. Mike_sweden, NORDBO Mage fixed my hard stools/constipation in just a day. Be careful so you dont make them a habit though. Continue with a non-constipation diet.
