My NE's are gone, thankfully! (due to aging I think).

NE's seemed to me the most vicious of all POIS because we didn't "do" anything!! (sex)

Often, it seemed to me, NE's were only a simple release of emotional, cognitive, and bodily tension.

And for this we suffer the depths of hell???

10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

This is one of the most intriguing things about my POIS.
When I have a NE I don't have any symptoms :)

It's something that called my psycologist's attention, and mine too.
Anyway, I don't think it's psycological.

Do your NE gone after your POIS treatment, demografx? I think our frequency of NE are anormal and this have a lot of relation with POIS. It isn't normal for someone have a NE if he stays 7 days without  a O.

I have had 1 or maybe 2 nocturnal emissions in my entire life.  I am very confident this is true.  I am 26 years old, and from the very onset of puberty I never had the memory of an embarrassing morning where I'm dealing with semen mysteriously on myself.  The one time I know for sure I had a nocturnal emission was on a very rare night: I got high off marijuana for the first time.  This was maybe my 3rd or 4th time trying it, and I had never gotten high on any of the previous tries.  I had a very pleasant experience while high, and remember having vivid dreams.  I woke up with my underwear soiled, to my amazement.  From what I recall, I didn't have very strong POIS symptoms, but I can't say they weren't there.

I wonder what marijuana did to me so as to make me have my first noctural emission at the age of 23.  Since then, I've never been able to get high on pot, and the last time I tried, with some potent stuff, I had what they call a "bad trip" I was crying, terrified and delusional.  I havn't touched any since.
Turmeric and Rosemary 30-45 minutes before orgasm for anti-inflammatory and immune support has helped me a lot. Faster and easier than niacin approach.

I always have symptoms coinciding with NE and sexual arousal. Yet, NE is uncommon for me as a 26 year old, but sexual arousal can be a burden. In fact I know I am mildly sexually aroused because of mild POIS symptoms. I find that orgasms  which have a longer build up of sexual arousal tend to be more intense and produce worsening symptoms as well.

I got my first NE on Day 47 of PMO. Pois symptoms gave me mind fogginess and reduced cognitive ability. Took me 5 days to recover to grt back to normal.

Does getting more and more NE's reduce your symptoms over time? I've heard alot of people reporting that POIS get less with NE's as long as youmare on no PMO'(no fap)

NEs don't produce the same severity of response from me, but I don't become any less sensitive to them over time.  In my experience, they also cluster.  After one NE, it's more likely that my body feels "okay" to have another.  Occasionally I get them on sequential nights, resulting in doubly unpleasant POIS.

I'd been on about 30 days without O before the other night.  Was feeling great - extremely confident, sharp, quick, and capable.  I needed less sleep and I would wake easily and refreshed.  I could trust myself to respond to the world effectively.  After NE the night before last, I began to recognize the dull "lack" in my brain, and last night felt an overwhelming sense that nothing I was doing would amount to anything, and a desperate need to change everything in my life.  A midafternoon nap today turned into hours.  POIS is just night and day, even with NE.
