Warrior's (r/tteezzkk) POIS solution and general info

Supplement stack & lifestyle habits which is 97%+ effective at reducing my POIS:
  • Fresh raw minced garlic, let it sit for 5-10 min before consuming (take 1 hour before and immediately after)
  • Fenugreek dry seed extract pill 1000mg [Nature's Own] (take 1 hour before and immediately after)
  • Lectin-free diet (lectins, gluten being the worst of all, may actually render my personal solution useless if ingested in large amounts. small amounts will cause a 'POIS residue' feeling, around 15% intensity of my regular old POIS 6-8 hours later which can manifest as brain fog and social apathy. the solution will still work again to remove that POIS residue feeling 6-8 hours later, but it may come at inconvenient times i.e. socialising)
  • Just eat real food ─ Dr. Gundry's lectin-free / ketogenic diet (keto is not absolutely necessary, although I have experienced an improvement in overall clarity and stress tolerance for general wellbeing.)
  • Intermittent fasting states (have 2-3 main meals throughout the day rather than snacking between meals. I feel clearer and better everytime I am in a fasted state.)
  • High intensity exercise that makes you sweat & sunlight to stay healthy overall
Temporary 2 hour post-orgasm light POIS buildup phase, which is more intense and unpleasant when ingested lectins:
Matcha green tea can help in these temporary circumstances. Matcha seems to counter the lack of energy and foggy mind which may present itself in this phase, throwing you into a more present and alive state. Usually I feel like going on a long run blaring music in these circumstances which is very enjoyable. This temporary phase is a lot more intense and unpleasant when ingested lectins, specially gluten.

Additional notes:
** After dicing/mincing raw garlic, wait 5-10 minutes for optimal amount of allicin to form. Coat it in a generous amount of honey (if you aren't doing ketogenic diet) to swallow with milk if the garlic is too strong for your pallet.
** If the clove is very large, cut a half or 1/3 of it to ingest, toss the rest. A big full clove is unnecessary and will probably make you stink.
** Be careful of consuming too much garlic, as it will leak out of your pours and stink. Wear nice natural deodorant/cologne.
** Garlic pills suck compared to fresh raw minced garlic. Use raw minced garlic as a minimum when testing this.
** A good rule of thumb I follow is that if I am going to a major social event, I will have some fenugreek and garlic beforehand in case I unknowingly arrive in a mild POIS state, which will only occur if I've ingested lectins. (sometimes you eat lectins i.e. gluten in a packet of nuts without realising it)



Began testing this method on 07/07/21. Which marks just over 6 months of success at the time of this edit. ;D

My old POIS symptoms (a thing of the past now ;D):
Generalised anxiety (created & intensified social anxiety), intense physical fatigue, brainfog, agitation, for at least 3-5 days depending on severity. These became exponentially worst the more I ejaculated in a short period of time. I would need to do 20 days of abstinence in order to ejaculate and not experience POIS.

Personal POIS TODO list:
  • Experiment with anti-lectin (Dr. Gundry) and ketogenic diet
  • Read The Plant Paradox in relation to auto-immune chronic conditions
  • See POIS doctor IRL for general check up.
Garlic pills are better than nothing, but they suck compared to fresh raw minced garlic
Garlic pills are a decent substitute for the pungency of raw garlic... kinda. Tested using Thompson's Garlic Perles & Australian NaturalCare Garlic Pills with fenugreek dry seed exact and experienced significant reduction of POIS by 70% however raw garlic remains to be much more reliable and potent. Raw garlic gives me insane levels of clarity and energy (a reality where I am thriving) compared to garlic pills, albeit the garlic pills are still effective to some extent (they definitely reduce the dread of POIS, anxiousness, and severe fatigue). However I still experience a low level brain fog and lower energy levels compared to raw garlic - my body feels "full" and alive after eating raw garlic, and my sensory clarity is insane!

Some updates.

Got covid 4-5 days ago. Symptoms have been rather mild - just a flemmy throat and some minor body aches. I am double vaccinated with pfizer. 99% sure I got it from a nightclub in Sydney. Following day I nutted twice. POIS solution still holding up very well. I am now experimenting with a ketogenic diet.

Edit: Been about a week since I broke self isolation. My sense of taste/smell has certainly suffered (long-covid symptom I believe). Apart from that everything was sweet!

Edit 2: Been just under a month since contracting covid. Sense of taste/smell came back a week or two ago.  :)

Do you take the raw garlic every day as maintenance or just before and after O?

I think it would form just as much allicin. It minces it very thoroughly. I also still let it sit there (as a ball of minced garlic) for 5-10 minutes.

I take garlic and fenugreek on days I O, whether that be after or beforehand. Beforehand is always ideal but it still works if I just take it afterwards.

I will also take it on days I experience what I call POIS residue, which only happens when I ingest lectins.
