Nicotinic acid (niacin) is not the same as nicotinamide (niacinamide), both are called Vitamin B3. I would try it again with nicotinamide.

Alright, I'll give the other form a try.

This is the product I'm going to buy: https://www.amazon.com/Natures-Way-Niacinamide-500mg-Packaging/dp/B000I4AIUK/.

Look good?

Hi The One.

Best to ask your pharmacist how similar my one is to theirs. Mine is a 500mg Niacinamide (also called Nicotinamide) solid white tablet and doesn't make me flush.

Closest i could see on Amazon is this 250mg tablet: https://www.amazon.com/Vitacost-Niacinamide-Vitamin-B-3-Tablets/dp/B006GJHJ4Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_3

Read up on the difference between Niacin (flush) and Niacinamide (also called Nicotinamide) (non flush). Importantly do not cut or crush the tablet:

https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-6926/niacinamide-oral/details

I hope you can fully recover before the next attempt.

Thanks for clarifying, Gino :)

It turns out I bought the wrong version of niacin. The new one (niacinamide) is the same form as yours.

I'll give this experiment one more try :)
