Not sure where to start.. apart from thank you to whoever started this forum and thanks to everyone who has been contributing... plus everyone else on the internet talking about this .

I can?t say too much how empowering it is to see so many people talking about this topic , I would hardly be able to talk to myself about this in my own mind let alone to someone else.

I typed in ?tired after a wank? and eventually came across this article and others related to it a few days ago , and have been reading from this site for the last few days too.

Have probably been suffering from this since puberty am in my early 40s ... I think it has fluctuated in severity . I haven?t ever had a pornorgraphy addiction or anything like that , I think there has been a relative amount of shame or reinforcement of sex before marriage is bad and better to control it .
because Of this condition.

I do also suffer from PE ...

I think there is light though !!!!!!!!

Just seeing this thread and all these conversations has been amazing..

I am totally new to this , and am only just discovering the words to describe what I have been going through here .. it is all quite a bit to take in..

Over the years for other reasons (which are basicallly if I really think hard are because of this issue ) I have done the following which hVe helped me with overall symptoms:

Yoga
Meditation
Vegan diet
Hit training
Press-ups

Kegels
Green juicing with blender - lots of leafy greens
PT sessions in the gym
Floradix
Iron supplements
B supplements
Going gluten free for a month

Colonics

Something which I haven?t heard anyone talk about in the threads I have read AND HiGHLY RECCOMEND trying - try something like Ovex for killing threadworms i.e. intestinal parasites .. in the large mix of contributing factors , there is something to this which helps. Anything bitter , also wormwood tea has helped.

My biggest struggle is PE , I have put off trying to ?fix it?? ... but I feel I can ..

The pois symptoms over years less and more - are the same as described by others / brain fog, memory difficulty, lethargy on a different scale, the feeling of wierd depletion..

I can?t believe all the things above I have been independently trying over the years , seemingly just for general better health .. are exactly what others have been trying too .. they all seem to have helped.


Since reading all these articles , I have dosed up heavily on zinc/omegas(plant based) and vit d all with aim of increasing testosterone levels - I am sure this is part of the key.

I also feel part of the issue is reconnecting with a relaxed and connected body , all parts especially the reproductive organs..

I will stop here .. just to say , this is amazing that so many people are talking about this .. I am sure it must be a larger issue , but who knows am just glad that I can put a name to this syndrome ..

One thing I will say .. I haven?t had that many loving sexual partners , but when it has been with them , the symptoms never showed up in interactions with them.. that is interesting

Something else I would like to add , as an observation of the past ... it?s been like a double edged sword ...

Whenever I felt felt ?great? I.e. sustained exercise and probably increased testosterone, I have believed that I am ?fine? and it is worth a try again... many a times , those have been the biggest ?crashes? ... am hoping with the knowledge I have gained now , from these threads I can manage this better .. so when I am doing good ... I will dose up and meditate more too .. also if I do the ?action? I will try to be more engaged with my reproductive organs if that makes sense .. I.e. try to be fully in the moment .. I think it will be a process ..

Another supplements which I think has helped is spirulina..

For me, sex causes reduced POIS symptoms, but the symptoms are still there. There is a good thread discussing the issue here:

Thanks , just the clarify the POIS symptoms were not noticeable, but the PE was there.

I think there is something to the neck muscle and it?s effects on the pelvic floor.. I agree with all of that .

I was going to say if that whole area around the pelvis can be made optimal / I.e. fully engaged , relaxed and able to move this will help..

Funny I also just saw a thread where someone talks about red apples ... I concur ! This is another thing in general which greatly helps symptoms and I am going to look further into this.

I have noticed there is some niacin in some of the supplements i take , but am going to research taking more..

Right now all I have done is increase my vit d/ plant based omegas/zinc /magnesium intake and taken ovex this week.

I feel stronger and out of a sluggish mode.

There are going to be many contributing factors and each person is going to deal with their psychological foundations differently, which is also key.. and a whole different topic , but I believe that physical activity - strengthening the body and fitness does help - I was reluctant to take too many supplements for vitamins in the past , but am ok with this right now..

Normal life events (relationships etc) will play a part in how your feeling and how your body reacts.

As well as all the physical stuff , we have to build strong psychological foundations to assist and be in a place to regain confidence and esteem to try new things and move forward too.

Not saying you're wrong, but a recurring theme with my situation, and a few others' as well I think, is that it's so hard to separate cause and effect. One of the many things I've tried is to release tension in my psoas muscle through exercise, as a tense psoas is associated with various problems like stress, which in turn seem connected to POIS. However, personally I have this thing where I feel great while I'm exercising, but I crash a bit the day after; same as after orgasm but less severe. But on top of that, even when I think I've managed to loosen up my psoas, it feels like it's right back to super tense after a short while. Which leads me to suspect that is a symptom rather than root cause, at least in my case.

So true. Even though a lot of people on this forum have it way worse than me, I find I limit myself unnecessarily sometimes by avoiding activities even if there's a small chance of triggering symptoms (due to certain foods, heat, cold, exercise, etc). I'm working on finding a good balance between avoiding triggers and getting out there and living my life.

Thanks guys , Hurray and Clues ...

So I forgot to mention I am using Glutamine too , at the moment , I use it every now and again .. I used it to ?solve? my leaky gut years ago , and am trying It again now ..

I feel there are so many similarities with people in this group on symptoms, am sure there is going to be an aha moment ..

After some stability, I am now in a good space (and generally am) i will give Niacin a go and get back.
The issue that needs fixing , is the replenish after a crash !

Am not scientific enough to explain and use the correct terminology, - but it seems , when my dopamine and testosterone are at good healthy levels I kind of have felt ?am cured? but it?s been at that point (outside of a proper relationship) that I have had the biggest crashes ..

 I haven?t had the ?energy? and ability to put in the practice / training required and time effort to really look at reducing PE.. but i believe it is possible and reducing POIS will obviously assist greatly in that.

And I guess what crash really means is , inability to replenish those hormones quickly enough for whatever reason ??

Am I on the right lines ??
