Doesn't work like that for me, but yes - that's also the theory for how it can help CFS with ATP issues. I've tried anywhere from tiny amounts of D-Ribose up to about 15g per day - for general use, only after bad POIS or CFS crashes. It's moderately helpful, but nothing amazing for me.
I've tried ALCAR, Q10, D-Ribose, NAC, liposomal C, Taurine, methylated B vitamins, SAMe, ALA, Alpha GPC, etc.
