Low BMI, Body Weight Loss, Low Muscle Mass, Low Appetite and Gut Microbiota:

Targeting the Gut Microbiota to Treat Cachexia

16S Microbiome test from Atlas Biomed (I don't have any printout of results, they are visible in a webpage with diagrams, so I can't post all of it)
- I am missing a number of important butyrate-producing bacteria such as faecalibacterium, roseburia, coprococcus, akkermansia. I also have very low eubacterium.
- I am also missing a non-butyrate bacteria called Lactobacillus.
- Bifidobacteria is about 2.4%.
I initially started treatment due to suspected SIBO, however a breath test during my most recent slump revealed only a minor methanogenic overgrowth (11 ppm methane, <10 reference range). According to a stool test, I have high levels of two known potential pathogens, klebsiella pneumoniae and citrobacter brakii, in addition to an overgrowth of bacteroidetes in my large intestine.

I was recently diagnosed with SIBO and will report back after treatment. I also strongly believe that I suffer from transient episodes of D-Lactac acidosis as part of a larger gut dysbiosis.

What kind of test did you do for SIBO?

Lactulose breath test for both hydrogen and methane. Borderline positive for hydrogen and definitely positive for methane. See: https://i.imgur.com/GBp5YRV.jpg
Do you have premature ejaculation?

Yes!

Gut Dysbiosis Dysregulates Central and Systemic Homeostasis via Suboptimal Mitochondrial Function: Assessment, Treatment and Classification Implications

Overall, gut dysbiosis and increased gut permeability have significant impacts on central and systemic homeostasis via the regulation of mitochondrial function, especially in central glia and systemic immune cells.

Tested positive for SIBO. Genova Diagnostics breath test. Let me know if anyone wants to see the full test results.
Yes please. Also make sure you put this info into your own thread. Don't forget to vote on this poll for the big picture. We could be dealing with archaea instead of bacteria.

2022.1.28, I went to hospital to test SIBO and it is positive, my doctor prescribed Bifidobacterium Lactobacillus triple viable tablets, a kind of probiotics and Trimebutine maleate dispersible tablets for me, and I will take medicine for fourteen days. After 14 days, I will do the SIBO test again. It is very peculiar that I neither diarrhea nor constipation(defecate twice a day), so even my doctor is very surprised with my positive result, and she said my result is very far from normal.

I tested positive for SIBO and tried a treatment based on supplements which is scientifically proven to alleviate SIBO as effectively as antibiotics. Unfortunately there was no change in my symptoms. More details and test results here.

As pois atac ours nervos system, digestion , gut motility not workin
as it should, so valves in intesines like ileoccecal can stay open
when it shouldnt be or sty closed long perio of times..

So bacteria from large intesine go in small intesine and we get
sibo..

Interesting! So we have to take care of our nervous system and promote a good gut motility. When we have 1-2 bowel movements per day the valve should maybe not be a problem?

Super interesting. Thanks for posting this. Ties in with my slow transit constipation problem which I thought was fixed but somehow is back  >:(

Histamine: A Mediator of Intestinal Disorders—A Review

There is a part mentioning gut dysbiosis including histamine producing GI microbes.
