hurray, thank you so much for this post. You saved my career and life.
In the past month I started to take levomilnacipran, fexofenadine and Ibuprofen before O. The result was 100% symptoms elimination. I tried this 4 times so far. The trials were 1 week apart. Before starting levomilnacipran, i used to take fexofenadine and Ibuprofen which used to eliminate the fatigue and other physical issues if taken before O, but i used to still experience brain fog. Because of work, I can't afford to experiment with levomilnacipran alone, but when I have some time off I'll try it just see if I can eliminate the other 2 medications.
My current stack is 20mg levomilnacipran, 400mg ibuprofen, and 120mg fexofenadine taken 1 hour before O. I only take them on demand, not daily. I can't afford building tolerance, so I limit it to once a week (because i used to have a wet dream once a week and I can't risk O'ing without taken my stack).
What surprised me the most is that it worked from the first time, however, online it says it usually works within weeks for MDD and fibromyalgia (which what this medication is for).
Another fun fact is that i also read that milnacipran is the most balanced serotonin: norepinephrine SNRI (almost 1:1), and levomilnacipran has higher affinity for norepinephrine (1:2). So maybe POIS cognitive problems are related to drop in norepinephrine? Does norepinephrine stop the cascade of the inflammation process?
I had this disease for 12 years and this saved me me.
