Anyone find anything that helps the jitters/tremors?
« on: January 31, 2020, 02:07:19 PM »
One of the most annoying symptoms of my pois is the jitters and tremors. When my pois is bad, it feels like I drank a pot of coffee, minus any of the benefits. I just shake like a leaf. My muscles are weaker and just crouching my knees begin to shake. I'm guessing it has something to do with norepinephrine or cortisol.

Have any of you guys found something that helps with this?

+1 for Norepinephrine. I notice this with myself (and have diagnosed essential tremor.) Taurine reduces the DBH enzyme which is responsible for dopamine > adrenaline conversion.

I've taken Taurine and it's pretty consistent in terms of reducing my shakes.

  • Use Adaptogens and Antioxidants, they can help.

Norepinephrine
This is what I found in the forum, possibly more:
* Hordenine
* Phenylephrine
* Droxidopa

I tried phenylephrine before a shower.  It did not reduce any symptoms at all.  Also it never raised my blood pressure which I thought will be of help to me with chronic low bp because of my lung disease.  Also it never eased my sinus congestion.  Another supplement/drug which I had great expectation fails to work for me.

aswin, I'm sad to hear this.

I actually have no idea about jitters/tremors, I only was browsing around the forum for things claimed to increase Norepinephrine.
Maybe what you want is decrease?
Maybe at some point we have too much, at the other point too little?

I also have no idea about the shower topic.

Regarding Nascal Congestion: I'm quite sure Pseudoephedrine (instead of phenylephrine) (you probably can only buy it combined with another drug in one pill) is supposed to help with that.

I can give a new element.
I follow calcium diet since several weeks (cheese + vegetal milk + vegtables like cabbages ).

It suppresses my muscles tremors all the time, especially just after orgasm.
Taurine = Anti-Pois
