Anyone tried Pizotifen? (In australia sold under the name Sandomigran. This was a starting point, to take 0.5 mg nightly. He referred me to a neurologist, although to be honest I didn't feel the doctor I saw today knew anything about POIS - he was well aware of post O migraines, but nothing like what I experience. He seemed confident that an endocrinologist won't be helpful, and that based on my symptoms, a neurologist is most suitable. At least he said he believed it was a real condition.

One piece of advice he gave me was before you ejaculate, try putting your head down, like you are facing the ground. He said for that often significantly helps some people with sexual headaches.

An endocrinologist changed my life - - for the better - - by making a huge successful dent in my severe POIS suffering.

A doctor told my mother to do that head thing whenever she feels like passing out from a bowel movement. It has to do with the vagus nerve. It makes sense that your doctor thinks your problem is neurological.

My doctor also thought my POIS was a complication of autonomic dysfunction (vagal related) caused by inflammation.

He never acknowledged POIS by name btw, and neither did I (I didn't want to seem like a self diagnoser). He was just well read in autonomic disorders and thought my symptoms were related.

Thats a very smart approach uhtred .  I get flack from docs for doing so.  Mayo clinic docs (who usually are very professional) they even chuckled sarcastically and I got referred to Psychiatrist for depression.

it was easier in your case Dem, because you are on T it makes one bolder/resilient .  I would be interested to know, has your muscle mass significantly increased since being on T?  If so, how has the progression been exactly (like was the growth significant in first 6 months or a year, and then it started to taper off)

No perceivable change, swell. That usually happens with body builders taking supraphysiological doses.

I have tried this class of drugs (triptans) long time ago, unfortunately with no significant positive effect. And please bear in mind that they have serious side effects and usually prescribed to patients suffering from acute migraines and headaches, i.e. in cases when drugs? possible side-effects are by long odds outweighed by its benefits. Seems like your doctor is suspecting migraine headache which is not the case for POIS.
