Treatment Update
« on: June 26, 2019, 10:32:02 PM »
Hello members,

I just wanted to make a brief update post on some new additions I have made in my treatment plan. I recently had a follow up appointment with my urologist last week. The only solution she really suggested was considering to add in a low dose naltrexone to take after sexual release. She thinks that low dose naltrexone would help counteract the hypothesized opiate withdrawal reaction that is thought to may be occurring after O. My prescription has just been filled for the naltrexone, and I plan to start taking it soon. There were no major concerns my doctor made reference to when I asked about any side effects. I am also using one drop of charlottes web hemp/CBD oil every night as of last week, but have yet to try it out right after an O to see if it might help relieve symptoms. I have noticed that it might be having an overall positive effect on general anxiety levels, irritability, and on nightly sleep quality. I hope that this new CBD /hemp oil helps with the same symptoms after O, for instance. To me, the CBD seems more likely to help with the cognitive symptoms more so than the physical symptoms such as itchiness and the itchy and irritated eyes.

I will post another brief update after my next NE / O to report back as to whether the combination of the naltrexone and/or the CBD/hemp oil provide any relief.

Hi everyone. Just a quick update. Have been very busy and haven't gotten to posting here; apologies for the delay.

So, I have been using 1 drop of CBD oil 3-4 times a week at night for the past month or so. During the past month, I have had 2 NE. The CBD DOES seemed to have helped with the full body itchiness and irritated eyes. It does not seem to help much with the cognitive symptoms, as I still suffer bad brain fog and depressed mood. I am seeing it as a positive though; only downside is the cbd oil is extremely expensive, and I do not think I can afford using it several times a week. Thinking about saving it for only RIGHT AFTER an emission to provide relief.

My doctor ordered a semen analysis test to do at home. I asked if this was absolutely NECESSARY as I told her I do not want to suffer any more than I already do from NEs. She said that she believes there is some crucial information the test can yield. So, I reluctantly, but knowing its important, will have to collect that sample this week. Need to make sure all my other commitments are taken care of to allow for symptoms.  I haven't voluntarily released in a long time, so I am a bit worried about the severity of symptoms being worse. I will use the CBD as well as some other supplements as a post-o stack. I will update back soon as soon as I discuss the semen test results with doctor.

Thanks,
special123

How much CBD does it contain?

CBD-oil has lots of good effects on the body, if you can efford it. But you can also make your own CBD-powder if you buy some raw industry hemp. Just put some raw industry hemp powder (from the whole plant) in the kitchen oven in exactly 110 degrees celcius for exactly one our. One milliliter of the end product corresponds to five drops of commercial CBD oil. This product is also better than CDB oil as it contains so many more cannabinoids (though almost no THC at all - the substance that makes you dopy). CBD is actually formed just by the heat when cooking porridge with hemp powder. Another way to get a temporary relief from POIS (the only one that helps me) is to drink 1,5 litre of water with 1-2 teaspoons of MSM powder (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) and 1 gram or more (1 000 mg) of Vitamin C with bioflavonoids (as powder or capsule), and then go out walking 3-5 km in the bright light (cortisol lowers inflammation very much and make you alert). If you add 5-10 drops of CBD oil to the process it would even work better! Oh and I also have a tea with green tea, hibiscus and cardamom that gives some kind of energy kick that hides the POIS-symptoms alittle bit.
