Well when my pois first started like 3 months after I had sex and maybe ejaculated 8 times in the space of 24 hours and my pois symptoms were hardly any but I did have blood coming out of my penis which was quite strange and worrying lol. Then like a year ago I had sex 3 times in the space of a month and I got usual POIS symptoms but maybe like 50% reduction in the recovery time, I also had bad PE on two of the times. The longer you go without having sex the worse your PE becomes so this probably will make POIS worse. I think the reason why some people get no symptoms with sex is because there is much better blood flow as it is much more intense and maybe even because it empties the prostate fluids better.

Also hormonal changes during sex are present add to that the role of Oxytocin that is present in sex but absent in masturbation. All of this leads to the question is the intensity of sex, i.e. the pleasurability of sex a factor of whether you have POIS during sex or not?

Good point. In my case pleasurability can be ZERO, or super-intensive, but my POIS symptoms can
be as intense as ever. No correlation in my particular case.
