Microglia Inhibitors
« on: January 15, 2019, 07:06:04 PM »
Microglia plays an important role in neuroinflammation, thus I decided to look for potential methods to inhibit Microglial activity.

According to this article, there are available drugs that could play an inhibitory role in Microglial activity.

They are as follows:
  • Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN)
  • Dextro-naltrexone
  • Minocycline
  • Dextromethorphan
  • Rifampin
  • Propentofylline
  • Ceftriaxone
  • Glatiramer acetate
  • Ibidulast

Another article suggests herbal supplemental methods that also can play a role in Microglial Inhibition.

They suggest the following:
  • Resveratrol
  • Gastrodin
  • Trans-Cinnamaldehyde
  • Salvianolic Acid B
  • Tanshinone
  • Oxymatrine
  • Curcumin
  • Isobavachalcone
  • Scutellarin
  • Sophoraflavanone G
  • sesquiterpenoids isolated from Tussilago farfara
  • baicalein
  • Wogonin

I'm personally trying Dextromethorphan and Rifampin, I just tried them both and nothing really happened, I'll try them later to see if they can work after ejaculation.
Note that in order for Dextromethorphan to work on the Microglia, you need to have incredibly low doses, this paper in fact, suggest 0.1mg per Kg.

Taurine decreases microglial activity too.
Taurine = Anti-Pois
