Happy2 on update on my 100% cure since the last 2 years
« on: October 22, 2017, 02:52:44 PM »
Hi all,
This is Happy2, the one who found the 100% cure that worked for me.  I have been enjoying one orgasm per day for the last one year now.  It averages out to that anyway.  I am still taking Zyrtec (10mgs) per day and exactly two benadryls (25mgs each) after each orgasm.  Still 100% POIS symptom free.  It has changed my life forever.  I am now on dating websites and working on a career in public health.  My life had been shattered since I was 13 with the POIS.  Much confusion in high school, and much more throughout my 20’s when the symptoms grew many times worse.  Anyway, I have nothing to gain or lose from posting this.  I wanted to give an update and further information about my current condition.  So, as of the last nearly two years now, 100% symptom free.  Zyrtec (10mgs daily), and Benadryl (50mgs) immediately after following ejaculation.

That's great happy.

You're making me want to try out zyrtek.  Maybe it'll have an effect on food sensitivities?  Lol.

Do you have any side effects?

Do you usually take Benadryl every day (since you said you O everyday)?

My POIS managed with Diet (@ diet that 100% manages my pois)Believe my POIS stems from inflammation in the gut. O = neuro POIS from inflammation from the gut

supps: microdose zyrtec if needed for food sens. ibuprofen for infl. as needed. Melatonin as needed. Big Pinch Black cumin  seeds once daily

I had severe brain fog, joint pain in my fingers, neck, knees, and back, also OCD like symptoms, couldn’t sit still, had to be on my feet and moving 24-7, at least it felt like 24-7, severe fatigue on days 4 and 5, speech problems, couldn’t find the right words to say.

I have no zero side effects from the Zyrtec.  The Benadryl is no side-effects except the tiredness the next day.  The doctors I have seen; urologist, GP, and Psych. Doc all said the Benadryl would not hurt me at all.  The urologist said it wouldn’t do anything to my liver either.

The only side effect is from the Benadryl and that is just tiredness the day after.  I’ll even take 6-8 Benadryl in a night and still be able to do whatever I need to do the next day, I.e. studying, mowing, working, lifting, biking, etc.

I don’t take Benadryl every day.  I usually go 3 or 4 O’s every third, fourth, or fifth day.  I said it averaged out to one a day.  In other words, I usually have two nights in one week where I’ll O three to four times in that one night.  That way I just have two days of tiredness.

That's a great question, nobody has asked it since my original postings over the last few years.  Well, here's the thing, it took me from the time I discovered I had it, until finally getting the right concoction of anti-histamines to knock the rest of the symptoms out.  I went to my urologist 5 years ago (2012).  He told me he had never heard of it, but he also couldn't deny it's existence because my symptoms lined up with the Routers study I brought into him, where the 33 men were given the skin-prick test and 28 of them tested positive to an allergy of their own semen.  He told me to get on an anti-histamine.  He said it's all right there, the red-face, watering of the eyes, as he compared my symptoms to the description in the Routers study.  The fatigue, etc.  So, I got on Claritin immediately, and popped two Benadryls next orgasm after being on Claritin for 1 month.  It knocked out the symptoms 90-95%.  So, I was happy.  However, I went into him again, four years later for the follow up he requested, to tell him my success.  He told me to get on Zyrtec because it was more powerful of a medicine than Claritin.  And he had allergies so he knew it by personal experience.  So, after four years of taking Claritin every day, I orgasmed and happened to have some Zyrtec on hand.  Just for the hell of it, I decided day 1 of POIS, mind you I still had to deal with the days of POIS even with the Claritin/Benadryl combination, it was just reduced to 95 percent of the symptoms and also exactly 3 days and 8 hours of brain fog, then the brain fog would lift within that 3 days and 8 hours on the dot within 5 minitues.....So, on day 1, 2, and 3 of the POIS session, I popped one Zyrtec, on each day (1, 2, and 3), and for the first time I had no fatigue on days 4 and 5.  I knew it was the Zyrtec that prevented those fatigue symptoms.

I started taking Zyrtec every day for 2 months straight.  At that point, I orgasmed and popped the usual 2 Benadryls after orgasm.  I knew I had been taking Zyrtec, and usually the brain fog would have crept in within the usual time frame of 20-30 seconds.  This time, though there was no brain fog whatsoever.   So, right then, I knew I had been cured.  I tried another orgasm that same night with the same 2 Benadryl following orgasm and same thing, NO brain fog.

That being said, draw your own conclusions, the anti-histamines may need time to build up in your system, maybe even 1 or I would say at maximum 2 months.  Try it out, and hang in there.

Both my urologist, GP, and Psych doc, all said it WAS 100% an allergy.  They all said if it wasn't an allergy the anti-histamines would not work.  If the histamine reaction is stopped below the belt, it will not traverse the pipeline to the brain to cause the neurological symptoms.

Anyone else tried it? I might try it now. I had some success with niacin flushes, and i'm taking the "quantum" stack.

Hi positivguy, and welcome to the forum.

How long have you been taking my pre-pack, and did it help with your symptoms ?  What are your main POIS symptoms ?

My bad, i'm taking the cascade stack, sorry i mixed up the names.I think my symptoms have improved a bit.

It's generally hard for me to keep track of improvements or remember how it used to be, because it can be such an up and down and i have bad memory and focus at times.

I've ben taking zyrtec for three days now and once after orgasm. No changes yet.

Here a re a few of my Symptoms which do not necessarily occur at the same time:

- A feeling of inflammation mostly in the kidney and bladder area.
- Tiredness
- Weakened immunsystem
- Weak mind, loss of focus and concentration
- Weak body, even easy tasks can be very hard, and the the body control is not very good so i bump into things.
- Signs of inflammation can occur in the genital area (red)
- Sometimes depression, anxiety.
- Sport activities like running or lifting weights have sometimes caused extreme phases of fatigue. I had times where i could just lay in bed all day.
- Sometimes headache with slight nausea

Sleeping too long can have very bad effects for my overall state. I have that right now. (Still not sure if i'll sleep longer because something is wrong or if sleeping longer is the cause).

Going to bed after midnight had/has similar effects like sleeping too long (not sure if i still have that problem as much as i used to)

Coffee, especially with caffein had/has effects on my body and i was/am also very sensitive to alcohol.

I think i'll open a new topic in the new future where i will go more into detail and report about improvements etc.

I just noticed that i took the quantum stack for a long time. I still take bromelain quite often.

I believe one of my POIS problems is low testosterone after orgasm (Just based on how i'm feeling). I usually take a supplement which contains fenugreek, saw palmetto, zink, and tribulus terrestris. And i take Sibirian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus) and Maca. I take those for re-boosting my sexuality and power.

Hello,

I'm starting to take zyrtec for the first time today and I was wondering if by any chance, since the topic is old, if there were some other people who tried zyrtec and the other mec benadryl and have had some result? Or maybe is there other better antistaminic to take?

Sorry to up this old topic but my pois is getting worst and worst, and I'm looking after anything who could help me.

Happy2, it is great to hear that Zyrtec worked for you. This clearly proves that the immune system has a role in POIS symptoms ( at least in a subset of POISERs).  I think Nanna1's stack based on the transient immune suppression model probably targets a few biochemical steps earlier than the step that anti-histamines target. But even if anti-histamines work on a later step, it seems effective in controlling POIS.

Unfortunately for me I could never tolerate Cetirizine even for a couple days. I tried a couple of other anti-histamines (fexofenadine and another can't remember) but I couldn't tolerate them either. I can't tolerate Benadryl too. I am planning to try Desloratidine.

Hi all,
This is Happy2, the one who found the 100% cure that worked for me.

Congratulations, Happy2  :) It's great to hear from somebody who has permanently fixed their POIS. Edit: Just saw that your topic is 4 years old, but it's still great news. If you're still around, are you still getting the same results?

One reason I wanted to post was that several people have reported (anecdotally, on websites such as Reddit) that Benadryl (diphenhydramine) has a curious side-effect. For some people, it greatly enhances the strength of their orgasms. I've tried it myself, and it doesn't have any effect like this for me.

But milnacipran does give me greatly heightened orgasms, a very pleasant side-effect. Have you noticed any kind of similar side-effect from Benadryl? Could very strong orgasms be part of the solution for getting rid of POIS?

I'm suffering from pois for 4/5 year now and very recently (like 9 days ago) I tried to take 10 mg of Zyrtec + eating antistaminic food and dodging high histaminique food + also drinking twice a day macha tea(I'm not sure this one is really helping).

And for the first time since I have pois, my pois only last 1 days and it was 80% less powerfull then usual. I really feel a difference and I will come back in few week to tell the evolution.

Taking shower and eating some kind of food like brocoli trigger my pois. Also doing sports during my pois will make it worst.

Just sharing, maybe it will help some one and thanks Happy4, because of you I tried the Zyrtec! I hope other people can get better with it as well(I know that it's only worthing on certain kind of peoples unfortunatly).

I fought very hard, try a lot of stuff and went to a lot of doctors and never I found something wich was helping even a little bit...
I know that you may feel that it's hopeless and that you will never be healed from this desease but keep fighting! There is probably something that you didn't try yet who is waiting for you.

I started taking Zyrtec maybe 5 weeks ago and 1 week later I started to have way less symptoms (I'll say 90% less).
Before my pois lasted for 4/5 days sometime more.

After 1 week or maybe 10 days of taking Zyrtec, after an orgasm I was only feeling sick the evening of my orgasm and the day after I had almost nothing!(90% less syndroms) and the day after I had nothing! I really tought I was cured, it was a miracle but the symptoms went back slowly 3/4 days ago and today I'm feeling as sick as I was before...

I don't know if I should stop taking Zyrtec or trying something else, I'm kinda desesparete and don't know what to do.

I started taking Zyrtec…

I’m thinking of replacing my Benadryl with Zyrtec.

10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

It is the same, cetrizine is the generic name for zyrtec
