Found a cure for trauma-induced POIS (hormonal type)
« on: April 08, 2017, 04:52:00 PM »
I've spent a lot of minutes writing a post elsewhere, so I'm just gonna link it here because I don't feel like writing same stuff over and over on every forum:

I am OP.

Cheers

Thanks for sharing, Limitbreaker.  Let us know if the relief lasts.

I never heard of BPC-157 before.   It sounds like an interesting investigational drug.  However, not many people will accept to take the risk of using a drug that is just in early clinical trials.  Long term effects and potential side effects, in particular rare side effects that occurs in specific phenotypes/genetics, are not known yet.   But I understand that it is not the kind of risk you are afraid of taking.

Hey,

a short update

While most of my symptoms returned shortly after ceasing taking it (2 weeks), there are small but noticeable benefits, like reduced dissociation.

However I've decided to go for another trial, this time 250mcg for 20 days, then 125mcg for 40 days, so 2 month trial.

My IBS symptoms were completely gone plus I had way more energy, i.e. I had little to no CFS. This is currently my best bet so I'll keep taking it, I am on day 2nd 250mcg dosage right now, we'll see how it goes. I've tried taking a run today and it was awful, shortly after returning home I've experienced massive fatigue, the one you cannot ignore and had to go to sleep.

These 2 months I'll eat more healthy (although I am not a very unhealthy eater to begin with), do moderate exercise 6 days a week, have a more consistent sleep schedule. We'll see how it goes, 10 days aren't enough.

Thanks, for the update. You have got me interested in nootropics again. There are many more options since i last followed them.
During your trial you should probably try to limit your orgasms, may that might help to.

I went for another BPC trial recently, 20 days, 500mcg/day (the only reasonable dosage), combined with testosterone.

vastly improved recovery and a lot of emotional stability. On solo Test I do not have this degree of emotional stability, on the combo it was the best.

On solo test I can orgasm and have no emotional shitfest, however if I orgasm too many times in a short period of time (say, half a dozen times in 3 days)  then that one last orgasm can give me the strong POIS attack. My affect becomes blunted, I need a lot more rest and I become unmotivated. Logic behind this is IMHO cortisol going way too low. I need to test it however I need a cooperative woman for that.

Also BPC is the only stuff that fixes my gut almost completely. That's the most significant stuff.

I'd honestly use it all the time if 1. it was better tested 2. I had the money to sustain it. However neither of those are true. I am looking forward to trying out LDN treatment and cortisol replacement treatment, after I do some tests on cortisol.

Right now on solely testosterone I can still overtrain and do too much stuff etc. and emotional problems still wind me up, nowhere as strongly as not on test though. It's not that easy to overtrain though, i've gained a few kg and counting.

Limitbreaker.

I appreciate your sharing your tests with the group very much. Please keep us posted. Might want to test Os giving body more time to recover. 6  Os in 3 days maybe be too much at this point.

In any case best wishes!! Please keep us posted. You will find this group to be very supportive of what we all go through. Also we have members with a lot of experience who have tried nany things.  Some useful fortunately.  :)

I for one have had CFS and POIS simultaneous onset since 1993! That is 24 years. Doing better with what works for me but far from the success you describe.

Hoping to hear more from you.
Simultaneous onset of CFS and POIS since Feb 1993. Married since 1989.

Helped by Immunocal (I explained how to take in previous posts).  Some relief on day one and day two.  It affects neurotransmitters.

Tried it - didn't seem to affect POIS at all.
