Do any of you recall strange phenomena as a teen that you now suspect may have been due to POIS?
I know many of you state your POIS began at 18, but I have a memory from around highschool (14-18) where I recall feeling more social/extroverted when I have abstained from masturbation for at least 3 weeks. Back then I just assumed it was a normal reaction to sexual release so I didn't pay it much mind, but more recently I've started to recall events in my past where I'd be strangely over-emotional, shy, or drained.
Also, I was a virgin until about 2 years ago (I'm 28 now), and since I began having sex almost every week since then I can actually notice a trend of pois symptoms that gradually got worse the more time I spent with my gf (we had sex everytime we were together). And many recent traumatic events where I overreacted or acted out of anger or depression occured the day after I masturbated/had sex, but I'm only connecting the dots now. It seems strange that many poisers only got POIS from 18 when sexual stimulation usually takes place before then. I just can't shake the idea that I was a virgin for so long since I may have been "afraid" of having sex because I subconsciously knew it would make me vulnerable.
Anyway, I'm just wondering, do any of you recall having sex/masturbating excessively in a short space of time in your early teens, and feeling normal after? Did anyone have a sexual relationship at a young age and recall acting/talking differently, or having the girl complain about your insensitivity/rudeness afterwards?
