There is no "best" anti-depressant. A med can work very well for a guy and very bad you. The anti-depressant are very specific and not 100% explained. Maybe you can make a try with st john's wort before taking "heavy weapons".
Taurine = Anti-Pois

Lorazepam (brand name=Ativan) helps me stay calmer during tough days (1-2 days after O).  It was prescribed by my psychiatrist. I'm supposed to take .5mg 3x daily, but I often use it at 1mg to "put out fires."  It's pretty helpful.

Rooster..I take Lorazepam (too much?)

Up to 2mg at one time.

My pharmacist advises that  3mg/day is "high" dose. Approaching ADDICTION!

*****I use it to fight POIS by inviting /forcing  "sleep". *****

"Extra" sleep has always been a successful weapon in my POIS arsenal.

*****But TRT is #1 (for me) vs POIS!*****

I take Lorazepam even early morning after POIS-onset.

Especially if it's 2-days-in-a row- or more !!

It's a dangerous/addictive thing to do (!) but I wish to be honest with you with how I combat the dreaded-stinking--POIS! ????

I recently tried to wean myself  from Lorazepam with doctor monitoring and ... I succeeded...then... I failed!

IT WORKS TOO WELL FOR ME!!!!!

Be careful , guys !!!!

It's addictive !!!!

:)   :)   :)

10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

Antidepressant?

I use Lexapro (Escilatropam ) but it only works for me -- I cannot say how it will work for others.

We are all different!!!!

from my trial id recommend turmeric w/ circumin it definitely has given me antidepressant effects but than again everyone is different.
My POIS managed with Diet (@ diet that 100% manages my pois)Believe my POIS stems from inflammation in the gut. O = neuro POIS from inflammation from the gut

supps: microdose zyrtec if needed for food sens. ibuprofen for infl. as needed. Melatonin as needed. Big Pinch Black cumin  seeds once daily
