Mental Pois
« on: April 22, 2023, 07:30:30 AM »
Hello, it's been years since I do not post here.

I am a Pois sufferer from Chile since my early teens. I am 42 today, and experiencing a strange kind of Pois which I call "mental".

I gave up sex 5 years ago, but since then I've been suffering a strange kind of Pois in which I get the symptoms by only dreaming with an orgasm, not even having an ejaculation.

When this happens I feel bad for two days and symptoms will disappear after two nights of non sex dreaming sleep.

Does anyone else suffer this kind of condition?

Thanks

Hello, i understand you!
I struggled by the same problem.
Dunno what helped me but I can say that something from this list (im sure 100%):

1. Thyroid complex.
2. Taurine.
3. Tea with lemon and ginger.
4. ?Neck exercises?.
5. ?Legs exercises?.

p.s i use (1, 3) for everyday. Also i do a home workout every day. Taurine i take only after a ejaculation (2 tablets  (1000mg each)) also repeat a thyroid complex (1 tablet).

I hope this information will be helpful to you.

Oh yes!. I get it after a week of not ejaculating. I get it almost every week.

Maybe you could try Chilean propolis as it should be available there. Chilean propolis is a source of pinocembrin which has potent health benefits and it proved really effective for my POIS symptoms.

Of course it is also an aromatase inhibitor and thus a likely aphrodisiac, so its use could be counterintuitive for your specific issue.

The cause is probably the senescence of sexual organs and resultant inducible SASP, which also acts as a kind of non-diabetic metabolic syndrome.

I had an ex, who would get brain fog: much smaller working memory, impaired executive function, and sluggish thinking in general, every time there is some kind of emotional vulnerability being shared.  Pretty much any highly emotional event can trigger the ex into this mental state.

This vulnerability hangover is quite similar to POIS, as in it peaked the morning after the trigger: It is usually the worst when one wakes up in the morning the day after. and it takes 2-3 days at least to fade away.

I suspected it has to do with cortisol-induced cytokine issues. And anecdotally, celecoxib (before or after) or propranolol (before) seemed to alleviate the issue greatly. at least to my ex.
