I always have acne after an O. The next day a lot acne. Especially on the top of the head, the face, nose and on my back. What could be the cause (I know it's because of POIS). What can I do against it?

I don't get much acne, but I do get some sometimes during POIS. I'm guessinig it's either from inflammation causing your skin pores to close up or a weakened immune system which allows bacteria to build up in your pores. Or it could be something else. I think it's inflammation though.

used to get bad acne when i had pois really bad before, but now i just get dry skin on my face thats it, but that sucks 2.

Im 19, So im not sure if it really effects my horomoes in a drastic way. But I too get acne ): but its ok, after a week it clears up and im ok again

Just noticed this now. In my 30s and I still get acne, almost certainly after an O even if I haven't had one for 2 weeks.

I don't remember where I read this, but I think it works.

Wash your face well with soap. A side effect is shiny nose.

Lot of Poisers including me have acne days after ejaculation.
It may be a sign of inflammation and hormonal moves.
I even found a forum where men (non-Pois) make a challenge : several days or weeks without orgasm and report their progress.

It seems sulfur-containing amino acids like cysteine play a role in acne phenomenon.
I definitely have acne rush after ekaculation.
Taurine seems not to improve acne, only Pois symptoms.
Anyway the link is interesting.

Cauliflowers, cabbage, broccoli + garlic onion.

When I masturbate, I get much more acne but when I get NE, I hardly get any acne. All other symptoms are same in both cases. Then, is acne not a POIS symptom in my case?

I can confirm when I was your age also used to get a lot of acne. It gradually reduced over the years regardless frequency

Are there any vitamins that help against acne? Or a balm? Doctors can only give me antibiotics.

Same here, almost always acne on forehead/scalp day 2-5 after orgasm. Actually thats my second worst problem now after the headache. They are deep ones so I dont think they are caused by pores or sebaceous gland. The cause is substances in the blood (that cause thick blood and pooling) possible in combination with decreased immune system and leaky gut. I havn't noticed what cause more acne (O or NE) but I have figured out what can hold it back. By meticulous folloing this protocol:

Drink 3 liter water each day (to keep the blood thinner)
Take 0,5 dl colloidal silver morning and night, keep 1 minute in mouth. If you dont want to drink it, at least keep it in the mouth for 1-3 minutes before you spit it out.
3 000-6 000 mg vitamin C per day
Keep the blood circulation going, specially on your forehead/scalp all day. Regulary wash your face and gently massage it (the acne seems to start when the blood is pooling) and take walks (>5 000 steps/day)
3 tablespoons of Omega 3 per day (to keep the blood thinner)
Intermittent fasting (don't eat between 4pm and 10am)
Just eat fluently foods (soups, smoothies), not heavy meat things.

No cream can help this as it comes from the blood within you.

I have long suffered from acne in POIS. Here is what I find helps.

- Exercise
- Drink lots of Water
- Multivitamin
- Natural Sunlight (very important)
- Eat lots of healthy food like spinach and vegetables and fruit and protein. Avoid greasy and overly fatty processed foods
- Get high quality Sleep, maintain a consistent sleep schedule

According to WebMD, a referenced site, zinc is possibly effective for acne ( https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-982/zinc ). See with your doctor if it is safe for you to try, and at what dosage.

I've always had acne that leaves spots on my body (chest, back, buttocks, face, neck). My back looks like a starry sky with so many spots left by acne, I have used many products but I have never had any improvement!

I'm sure my acne is related to arousal, so if I get aroused I will definitely have more acne.

If I don't want to have a lot of acne I have 2 alternatives:
- Don't get excited
- If I get excited, I must ejaculate several times until my semen "empties", so I will be tired and without sexual interest. I got sick several times for doing this, if ejaculating 1 time already causes POIS imagine ejaculating several times in a short period of time ... for this reason I was never able to eliminate acne from my life.

Yes got acne on my back and shoulders and pimples on buttocks/side of thighs. I also suspect that they are related to POIS symptoms. Digestion takes a hit, leptin may be involved. It's much cleaner when POIS symptoms are gone for a while.

I agree that Zinc supplementations helps for Acne. (and people mentioned before that orgasm depletes zinc, either in the ejaculate or because it's potentially somehow used for infection handling somewhere in body)

I also get skin issues from any non-fermented milk products (e.g. everything that is not aged cheese or joghurt.)
