I looked at some of your posts on this forum. You seem to be openminded, or desperate, enough to try some to look into the more 'alternative' therapies to find a cure for your problems. I am not a homeopath and somewhat skeptical of the supporting evidence. But, I did studied pharmacy for a while and have a basic understanding of the theories behind homeopathy. I am intrigued by your comment that the meds are making you more sick. A homeopath should have told you that this is one of the possible effects of taking homeopathic remedies. And, as counter-intuitive as it may seem, you getting sicker is a very good result. It means that the remedy is having an effect. You mention that your uncle is a homeopath. Are you seeing him or a another homeopathic professional? If you are, I would advice you to go back to your homeopath and tell him of the effects the remedy had. He/she will explain you why you getting sicker is a temporary (and good) thing. Under normal circumstances a homeopath will always plan a follow-up appointment after 1-3 months to evaluate the results. My advice is to make a new appointment and go to the appointment.
If you are using over-the-counter homeopathic remedies, i strongly advice you to stop now and see an homeopathic professional. Asking other people which homeopathic remedies worked for them and using them on yourself usually leads to no or sub-par results. Homeopathy works best if a trained homeopath gives you a remedy based upon the symptoms you have as an individual. Going to a homeopath is expensive compared to other treatments (100 euro for the initial visit in my country- remedies are free), but is usually worthwhile. Most homeopaths in my country are also trained doctors or have knowledge of herbs and/or dietary habits. You may not always like what the homeopath is going to ask you. A homeopathic consultation is basically an interview of 45 minutes in which the homeopath is asking you questions about your life, including stuff other doctors won?t find interesting. He/she will probably ask about your sex-life and other intimate details. My advice to you is to buy a notebook and write down everyday how you feel and about everything that you find worth mentioning. You will probably notice things you never noticed before and writing everything down (e.g. before you go to bed) will make you be able to find some peace of mind before you go to sleep. You also will be better prepared for the interview.
