Does it affect the way you approach women?
« on: September 29, 2013, 05:27:36 PM »
There are many many scenarios when I've had beautiful girls over at my place and we're together in the moment. But I simply refuse to have any sexual contact with them because, I think, there's an inherent disposition to avoid any sex (similarly as I avoid porn altogether). So I back off and deny any attempt for sexual feelings, even if the tension is strong.

I'm at the point where I'm not sure if I should really blame POIS for it, so I am in control, I make the final decision. But countless times, over and over, I refuse and I regret.

Does anyone else have anything similar?

Perhaps it's a different underlying psychological issue unrelated to POIS, but I do believe POIS is an instigator.

It's hard for me to really answer, because I've been married the whole time I've had POIS. But it does effect the way sex is approached.

Being married, I just have to bite the bullet and do one for her. She has to put up with less often.

It's weird, because you want to do it, but you know what it means. In he case of a single guy, he can say no perhaps a little easier, or avoid the situation more, because there's not the same committment. However, it makes it harder to say no in a case like mine.

We all want to, but we know what it means.

I've thought about it though, and it must be rough for a single guy with POIS these days!!
Have to use a condom, which is a real bummer, AND worry about the effects of POIS. I just can't see me having much sex with young sweeties.

The up side of being married and the committment, is that, well you have to do it, and while you suffer POIS, you are forced to push the relationship, and that, in my case is good.

And well, we all suffer from POIS, and we all have to cum sooner or later, so I guess the trick is to find a girl that likes the POIS rythm, once every two weeks.

WITHOUT RESEARCH THERE WILL BE NO CURE!
Sessions 5 to 9 days, mostly Flu-like, joints, digestion problems, light cognitive.
Niacin has changed my lif though, now 1 day MAX.
Somewhere in this interaction with Niacin is the answer!

That's a good way of putting it. I just hope I can find someone that understands what I'm going through, and doesn't mind abstaining for weeks on end (although there are other ways to satisfy them, I suppose).

Glad you found a woman that understands you. You're one lucky man :)
