Acquired or congenital?
« on: February 22, 2020, 01:37:19 PM »
I have always wondered if POIS is more congenital/genetic or more acquired. The latter would perhaps point towards a possible spontaneous remission. Also this must be relevant to speculate about aetiological theories.

Previous polls that ask about the age of onset do not consider symptom magnitude or have one category (puberty or 10-17) which could both mean acquired or starting with the first sexual activity.

For me POIS started at the age of 25 with nothing foreshadowing it.
