Pyroluria
« on: February 22, 2013, 05:45:26 AM »
A POIS sufferer claims in the NSF forum some weeks ago he got a cured with megadose of B6 and zinc ?

An other members, gbogdulev, had a theory about systemic unbalance caused by deficit or exes of copper ;

Considering what pyroluria is suposed to be and the symtoms described, i thought it was interesting to consider this lead ;

I bought B6 and Zinc ; i'll try that ; Anyone had experience with this treatment ?

Thanks a lot

Careful with B6. An overdose amount of it will damage your nerves. And 50mg of zinc causes nausea for me.
Taking ginger tea, no wheat, fenugreek+green tea/garlic, saw palmetto, niacin, boswellia, huperzine, B complex and nutmeg. See my treatment summary post for more info: http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=81.msg3513#msg3513

i've tried that, it made me feel extremely tired so I quit after 3 weeks. Maybe pyroluria was not my case but it is yours.
in my personal opinion pois is due to an access of histamine release but this could be the effect of an endocrine system overload because of some illness somwhere else in our body. in my case i've been dignosed with a pitutuary microadenoma. how both things are related i don't know, but i can observe abnormal histamine reactions with food, stress, orgasm, extreme cold weather, etc...
