A few nights ago, I had my first wet dream with no POIS symptoms afterwards! (except maybe a little brain fog)
THINGS THAT SEEM TO HELP ME:
- taking vitamin C supplements every day (a natural mast cell stabilizer, I mainly get it from non-citrus sources, since citruses give me heartburn)
- eating a balanced diet everyday (fruits/vegetables and meat seem to be the most important)
- drinking ginger tea occasionally (helps lower stuff like histamine, blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol, but can lower them too much)
- cetirizine (mainly for acute allergic reactions, I used to take it regularly, but had to stop because of side effects)
- getting enough exercise and sleep
- avoiding allergy triggers
THINGS THAT HELPED ME IN THE PAST:
- eating a low-histamine diet (had to stop because of nutrient deficiencies)
- taking DAO supplements (no longer find them necessary since upping my dose of vitamin C)
