Hello guys,
I am 42 yo from France, sharing my happy story below. I have not read about this on the forum, or anywhere else, so I thought I should write about it.
Summary:
If we are allergic to our semen, let's reduce exposure time and quantity of allergen to a minimum.
My POIS symptoms are typical and last for one or two full days. They kick in only an hour after O. I avoided ejaculating more than twice a month for many years, usually waiting for a weekend to engage in any sexual activity.
4 months ago, thinking again that I was probably allergic to my own semen, as this forum has taught us, it struck me that I should get rid of all of it as completely and as quickly as possible after ejaculation, instead of letting it sit inside my penis. Which I did: I gently squeezed out all of it on TP and then waited to be flaccid again to squeeze out the rest, to the last little droplet (usually some clear seminal liquid). I also washed any part of my body that had come in contact with my semen (water and soap), and my hands.
=== After 4 months of doing this I can safely say it has kept my POIS at bay === if not completely at least well enough for my symptoms to no longer be a problem. Today, I can have sex with my partner several times a week!
>> I strongly encourage you to use this technique. You will see from the first try if it works as well for you as it has for me. I have had POIS for as long as I remember, and it is the first time something has brought me such significant relief. If we are allergic to our semen, let's not keep it inside our penises! In allergy issues, the duration of exposure matters.
>> I would also recommend regular cardio exercise, as I have clearly found that it too helped reduce the symptoms and makes you much more fatigue-resistant.
Cheers
