Hi to all!
« on: January 03, 2021, 09:56:45 AM »
Good morning everyone,
My name is Oscar, I'm 44 years old, I'm Italian and I think I suffer from this syndrome (or something similar) since I'm about 20.
Actually I do not have all the symptoms listed (flu-like state, fever, confusion etc...), but the only and always present is the pain post ejaculation. The pain appears about half an hour to an hour after ejaculation and affects the penis (which is painful if I have an additional erection), and the perianal area, (It disappears by itself within 24/36 hours).
Obviously in recent years I have done dozens of specialist visits (the diagnosis has always been prostatitis), but no antibiotic or anti-inflammatory treatment (even protracted for months), has never cured the problem. It is obvious that this situation has had a great psychological and relationship impact, which I think I share with all of you. I have practically lost hope of healing by now, but I would be very grateful to anyone who would like to confront with me to understand, if and what kind of POIS it could be and any advice and suggestions.
I apologize for any language errors and thank everyone in advance.

With the occasion I wish happy 2021 to the whole forum!

I think you should look for pelvic floor physical therapy... The story you tell reminds me exactly of what I read this afternoon about pelvic floor exercises and that the problem was often confused with prostatitis

Hi Oscar. I have the same problem since childhood. I don't know how to cure it, but I found a way to ease the pain. Try to urinate within 10 minutes after ejaculation, it always helps me relieve the pain.
