Heres a question I would like to ask people do any of your family members display symptoms of aspergers. My mum and uncle both do paticuarly my uncle. I have noticed with my mum her autistic symptoms seem to be increased at night I think its to do with a build up of stress but I'm not sure, could also be diet. They both completely dismiss the idea of them having it when i bring it up same with when I say I have it but I guess thats just how the older generation are... They think they are completely normal and probably totally unaware of their autistic mannerisms and characteristics as if they are stuck in autopilot mode.
I do probably have Asperger's although not yet officially diagnosed as it would explain many things in my life along with increased sensory stimulation information processing like I notice more things on the average and my mind doesn't filter out sounds/visuals/etc. and I sense them all (

I suspect my mother has it too and I might have gotten that from her because she displays some of those signs similar as I have and also seems to have some form of increased sensory awareness and often gets overstimulated easily for example when someone is talking and at the same time television is on and says that when someone talks too fast her brain sort of finds hard to keep up with that.
Now the most interesting thing is this:
From what I have heard neither my father's side of the family nor my grandmother's sister's side of the family has had Asperger's like symptoms or anything like that so my suspicion is that the POIS/Asperger's/etc. might have appeared either from my mother's biological father's genetics (he left my mother's mother early so no one knows his current status as far as I am aware (he would drink alcohol often which as far as I understand were one of the reasons he left the family) therefore it cannot be asked and he would be old now probably) or from some further genetical side if those are due to genetical inheritance causes.
My father does not seem to have Asperger's though from what I have observed so it might be that the POIS/Asperger's genetical tendency maybe comes from my mother's side of the genetics.
