Who of you all, were addicted to masturbation on your adolescence? Or used to masturbate a lot a lot, like maybe 1 day or 2 a day?

I think maybe this could be related to the release of hormones and maybe this could have created a negative balance in our brain due to the lack or excess of endorphin or another chemical sustance.

At least for me, when I'm at symptoms of POIS and I cum again the 2 seconds after I cum i feel like free of Symptoms. I mean, like our body or brain acts like "you have to give me these sustance and I'll be alright".

Also I have to say that when we watch porn, pleassure hormones are released too and I also feel like no Symptoms..
What i say it's like maybe it's like a drug

I don't have the best memory, but I'm pretty sure I was addicted to porn and masturbation, at least by OP's definition. Masturbated probably once per day as a teen. I have no idea what the average is though.

EDIT: Since there is discussion in this thread about whether there may be a causal relationship between "excessive" masturbation and POIS, I'd just like to point out I have no opinion on that. Just commented to provide a data point.

I really think so. Most of the people with POIS here where addicted to porn and used to masturbate a lot.

My personal opinion is that, if POIS was due mainly to overmasturbation, it would not be a rare syndrome, unknown to most doctors, but a very common problem.   So I think there must be something that predispose to have POIS, and overmasturbation may be one of the possible triggers, but not the only one.

For me, I never had overmasturbation problem, so not the cause of my POIS.
