Sad Stuff

Ya know, I really miss having a personality. Like I was popular and I had friends. It was good stuff.

We're there with you Nas. I also used to have so much joy in my life from interacting with other people. Now I just want to be alone. It's very depressing. I just get so irritable though in POIS that I can't tolerate others.

Today my old friends poked on FB. I was really anxious to reply, I feel like I just lost my ability to connect with them. Made me really sad because I really care about them, yet so hesitant to reconnect because of POIS.

I was having fun the last week with my friends but since monday I'm in another POIS period. I have been in my house alone and a bit depressed, loosing moments that I would have lived if I was as energetic as the last week. At least I know that my POIS period is ending tomorrow and I can go out again.

Well it's kinda different for me. For me healing is gradual, so I would be less retarded each day until about a week for me to then start feeling in control. The more I wait the more I am better. I think it would take me an entire month to reach a pre-POIS kind of healed. Which in itself is impossible given my strong libido.

Missing out on life is perhaps the single most crushing thing that POIS makes me go through. All the things I want to do but can't. All the joy in little things like having friends and enjoying your time with other people. So foreign to me now.

POIS is a very harsh way of life. Here is a song to support fellow POISers during sad times:

Thanks, Muon.
10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

Thanks bois, I didn?t actually Realise this dimension about POIS. when I am in POIS I am so awkward with other ppl... because I become so immersed in myself without actually even being able to feel myself (emotionally, physically, mentally...). And also I just don?t want to get out of home, bcs I don?t feel like it

Thank you community! I am no longer alone, with “unreal” symptoms.
I have hypothyroidism & constipation (toilet every 3 days or more). Worst constipations = more pois, & lots of mucus in the stools, or just mucus coming out.
