This fatigue is too much
« on: February 17, 2019, 12:16:04 PM »
I am so sick of this constant drained out feeling, the fatigue is now the same for me while abstaining aswell, I am at 10+ days abstaining and the fatigue is crippling.

I'm only 17 ffs I should have so much energy but here I am unable to play video games and enjoy myself during the weekend because I am so fatigued.

Even tho I took 500mg Vitamin C and 15mg Zinc today with green tea and abstained for 10 days I feel like a zombie. Nobody my age does that and they all have tons of energy even tho they drink and smoke and fuck.

I just wanna sleep and never wake up.

Hi IWGU,

I had extreme fatigue as well. Too tired to even talk or eat. The only thing that helped me was desensitization. Fatigue is my most improved symptom. You could consider that treatment if you are really desperate or when becoming suicidal. I'm not here to play doctor but making you aware of this option.

One tip from me, the only thing wich helped me for this is small amount
of presure coocked espreso cofee, if you are sensitive to cafeine be carefull,
so small amount of restoraunt espreso cofee(from presure mashine).
Take this after some meal, couse cofee can be bad on emty stomach.
Onece again, if you hawe a problem with heart plapilation,
hipersenzibility, hi anxiety, be carefull with cofeine.

Take it in days of hard fatigue brain fog etc,
take it in the first half of day, in evneing you could
hawe insomnia.

God luck.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immunotherapy
With in particular:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allergen_immunotherapy

I have done subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) for 5 years.
It's also possible to do Intralymphatic immunotherapy (ILIT) which could be shorter and more effective.

Just google those two for its principle. You need to replace the 'allergen/antigen shots' in these explanations by 'your own sperm dilution shots'.

Yea I have relied on coffee in the past but I try to avoid it now since it fucks up my sleep schedule and only lasts for like 2-3 hours before I start crashing down.

So this "treatment" is based on the theory that I am getting POIS symptoms because I am allergic to my own semen? Wasnt this debunked?

How well is it working for you?

The treatment itself sounds pretty hardcore tbh, and... no offence  pretty vile.

I'm not insinuating that POIS is an allergy although many people will interpret it this way whenever I talk about immunotherapy. Immunotherapy is a broad term, it's mostly used for allergies. There is no evidence for POIS being an allergy.

It improved my fatigue by roughly 80%. I'm not saying it will work for you or that you should try it. And whether it's hardcore or vile isn't relevant. Here is a guy who has done ILIT for example: https://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=2653.0

And to be clear I'm not a hardcore advocate for the use of immunotherapy in POIS patients btw. It's an option that is available which helped a few individuals. It's not a cure.

to be honest ...

1. You are totally fucked, from now on, because of your health different rules apply to your life. Do not expect you can do things that everyone can do and do not expect to 100% recover. IF you read this thinking like you will recover 100 % you are wrong

2. Modify your diet, personally i would recommend raw meat ( beef meat and liver ), raw eggs and raw fermented milk ( kefir)and raw butter. The most nutrient dense food on earth is meat, especially when its raw because it got way more nutrients. Cooked keto is also OK but most people feel better on raw carnivore diet. just add some veggies daily, cooked broccoli for example or eat sauerkraut for some extra vitamin C. Avoid all processed foods unless its for example coconut oil. High choline ( eggs , meat ) intake reduces the fatigue a bit.  Do not drink tap water with all the chlorine and do not eat gluten, gluten also creates leaky gut in healthy people.  What foods give you allergy or sensitivity is something you need to figure out yourself, some people can eat peanuts and other people feel like shit when they do.

3. Lower carb intake .. Eating high carb on POIS is the worst thing i did, it not only made the brainfog worse but also gave me heat flashes and worsen fatigue. For some reason you develop glucose intolerance really quickly when you have POIS. Avoid vitamin C because the body recognize it as a sugar and this can worsen glucose intolerance and brainfog. Hyper and  Hypoglycemia is very common with POIS.

4. Reduce stimuli and eat sufficient protein for neurotransmitter synthesis. POIS is related to neurotransmitters for sure like dopamine and serotonin OR reduced receptor density/sensitivity. You have to reduce stimulation there is no other way , gaming all day is the worst thing you can do and staring to a screen for prolonged periods is overstimulation. The anhedonia you get with POIS is caused by disregulation of reward centre of the brain most likely dopamine and some neuro-endocrine hormones. Worst thing you can do is spike cortisol , insulin and reduce dopamine sensitivity by overstimulation ( too much reward by gaming for example or using technology or drugs). only look at screens when you need to and limit your time with visual technology. You might want to reduce the brightness of screen or use software like flux.

5. Do not use drugs...i used drugs ( psychoactive ones)  to see how my POIS would react to certain drugs just for science. Some drugs inihibited 90 % of POIS symptoms short term but made other symptoms worse long term. MAgic mushrooms for example is not a good thing to take even in smaller dosages because POIS already gives serotonin depletion and mental problems.  IF you use medication you should use anti-histamines, diclofenac and iboprufen. Be aware that prolonged   use prostglandin inhibitors ( iboprufen ) damages sperm and affects long term fertility.  Some people have benefits from SSRI or SNRI... duloxetine actually helped me fix my gutlining and made me tolerant of some foods but it messed me up psychologically. I do recommend trying all other things i listen before considering taking SSRI/SNRI. CBD oil may give you some benefit.. i only use cannabis for insomnia sometimes i don't like it because it supresses the immune system which could be very bad if you have viral infections.

6. Be careful with supplements .. most supplements contain a variant of fillers and residue of harmfull chemicals, also most forms of vitamins have poor bioavailability. I do recommend supplementing zinc ( it may raise libido), if you can get cheap quercetin and rutin it may help as well, luteolin is more expensive but also works. Avoid multivitamins especially ones that have high iron

7. Pois causes nerve damage... i'm not even going to discuss this in dept. ECP release from eosinophils destroys nerves or just the immune activcation can attack tissue including nerves. At every POIS episode my eyes are fucked and my temperature sensitivity is off whack ( sometimes don't even feel temperatures like i should)

8. Drugs that target (acetyl)choline system like noopept and fasoracetam actually have long term benefit. Noopept is known to regenerate nerves and fasoracetam is a GABA-B inhibitor which strangely enough reduces anxiety and brainfog, fasoracetam also gives a slight release of dopamine which helps with motivation. Noopept is more powerful when it comes to nerve regeneration ( long term)  but can by stimulating in higher dosages. I have taken both and i noticed a significant benefit long term.

9. Do not avoid exercise.. however do things differently. for example instead of doing 30 crunches or more ( stomach muscles) just do 10, then a hour later do another 10. Avoid intense exercise and always spread out activity over time. IF you a 30 minute walk make sure you take a break after 15 minutes. Low intensity is the keyword...don't walk near roads , make sure you are in nature without stimulation from noise of cars.

10. Avoid orgasms / erections. Some POIS people can have erections but not orgasms , some get severly ill of a short erection of a few seconds. If you have a girlfriend or you reach to the point where you want one make use of your tongue and fingers.

11. If you have one orgasm in 2 weeks you will recover quicker than 2 in 2 weeks... worst thing you can do is stack orgasms in a certain span of time. IT takes longer to recover your tissue and gut lining. if you masturbate alot you are fucking yourself up for sure.

12. Don't watch porn ...it not only gives extra stimulation and messes up your dopamine pathway, it also makes masturbation more enjoyable and rewarding ( not in a good way) society sexualized everything and woman are seen as objects nowadays. Don't live a sexualized life, avoid looking at naked woman on billboards for example.

13. Do not sit for prolonged periods... just get an audiobook on your tablet, phone or mp3 player. I go and lay down for about 30 minutes while listening coast to coast AM on youtube,  then i do something like take a 45 minute walk ( or 15 minutes if ur tired)  and go lay down again while listening to youtube or adiobooks.  Rest-activity-rest-activity etc.

14. Turn of wireless internet off both on your router and tablet, EMF is known to be bad for your health. i usually download audiobooks or youtube vids in MP3 format on online youtube converter... i download a few and turn of the internet. Only using it when i really need it.

15. Don't take vaccines

16. Cold therapy helps .. first few times you get inflammation because it boost the immune system but after that i feel alot better. I do cold water swimming in the lake, how cold and how long you can endure is up to ones tolerance and experience. When the outside temperature is 12 C i can go in cold water 30 minutes depending on how i feel. Cold water swimming for me gives me a significant improvement, its not about intensity of exercise. Swimming in general is better than walking, walking gives much more fatigue.

17. You are not the only one... on my worst years just walking 3 minutes was too much.. just getting off the couch and walking to the kitchen made me extremely tired. I remember on instance where i had one POIS reaction and i literally had to lay down on the couch for 5 days straight. The faster you go for solutions the more you improve.

18. Don't expect other people to be understanding.. most wil not believe you or behave like absolute assholes. Be assertive yourself. Never bend down to other people and never try to vent your heart because most people won't give a shit. Talking to other people about it won't improve anything anyway. If you need to talk about it go to a psychologist, especially spritual psychologists are more empethic and understanding.  Don't expect to have a good social life, social relations take alot of energy .... you are not cutting people off because you have an illness you will cut people off because you are tired .. its in your benefit so take the lead... do not let other people lead social interactions because it will drain you. OTher rules apply to you this is also true in the aspect of social relations.

19. Invest alot of time in metaphysics, the occult and paganism. It will give you a wider perspective and conciousness, it is also easier to understand and gives fullfillment. You will also learn mindtricks, values, traditions and skills that help you mentally. Arts like painting for example is also possible when you have brainfog. Reading technical stuff that requires memory kinda sucks... for about 5 years i could not focus or read.. i literally had trouble reading just one sentence, i gave up going to college etcetra.. if you have POIS its better to be an artist, make woodcuttings or learn some other usefull craft. I spend hours just trying to learn one page of text which would normally before i ever had POIS take me 30 minutes. i wasted too much time by doing something that didn't work for me.  this books is a good one : https://www.amazon.com/Language-Gods-B-R-Taylor/dp/1533157685/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1550869516&sr=1-1&keywords=language+of+the+gods+taylor

20. Gaming sucked because without POIS i would get like 30 kills and 2 deaths .. with POIS it was more like 2 kills and 30 deaths...only gave me frustation and a bad mood. Play other games like 4X or strategy.. maybe story or adventure games . Do not play high intensity shooters and do no play for long durations. At a certain time i was too fatigued to do anything and i gamed all days.. huge mistake.. you cannot recover your nerves when they are constantly stimulated. Take breaks , switch to audiobooks, do something different.

21. Temperature intolerance.. high temperatures increase fatigue in alot of patients.. it might be wise to avoid sun during hot days and it might be wise to not dress yourself with warm clothes. When its 15 C i walk around with shorts , shirt and flip flops.

22. 99 % of the people are retarded .. don't let them drag you down with them.

23. NEVER go beyond your limits .. listen to your body. If you are too tired to do anything just take a 5 minute walk.. just do alot of different things for shorts amounts of time. it makes your day more interesting and easier.

Sorry raw meat like beef meat and liver make my pois symptoms especially Red Meat
When I chew red meat during POIS it always give me horrible brain fog even on day 7 of POIS..
It increase pressure in my head very tight pressure that is just behind my eyes..
i recommended lamb meat, Prawn, lobster, oyster, salmon it helps Pois suffered member like Samir777 , hurray , B Jim their proteins heavy meal help their pois symptoms

zinc  gluconate make my pois symptoms worse when I first try it 5 years ago i expect so much to get better from Zinc gluconate. It makes me headache

Guts: There is no scientific basis for avoiding emf and vaccines. We don't know that hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia is common in pois or that pois causes nerve damage.

Honestly this was an amazing post Guts! I'm glad you have a better way of dealing with things now as I remember reading your Problems dating/ relationships post some time ago.

Maybe this deserves its own post?

Ps I have thought about trying noopept but a lot of people on the nootropics reddit seem to be against it and say stuff like "Overhyped shit which indirectly messes with glutamate resulting in less stress to the brain and short term memory impairments..."
And they also say long term it can have damaging effects but you seem to be saying the opposite so I might give it ago.

to be honest ...

If you are too tired to do anything just take a 5 minute walk.. just do alot of different things for shorts amounts of time. it makes your day more interesting and easier.

i give you some youtube channels which you should watch, it will give you some directions in life.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVmlEoDSeImXV5aPz8EvP0A/videos  wide variety of fun subjects

Most people wil recommend you vegan diets, raw veggies etc etc.. i don't agree because POIS depletes neurotransmitters and you need lots of protein to increase synthesis. You should only go vegan for really short amounts of time or to cleanse.. you cannot build and repair damaged tissue with plants. All the above.. i did this for almost 3 years straight and i made some gains.. before i could not do anything , just sitting in a chair gave me intense fatigue.  Do not expect things to get better in just one year. Healing can take a long time. be disciplined and stick to it. IT might be boring at times but once you get used to the boredom other things which never really were interesting will get more exciting.

I completely agree with you. A lot of people on here are expecting a quick fix which magically eradicates  all their symptoms. And yes for some people they might find this but for a lot of us I don't think it as simple that and I think you need a combination of certain factors to heal slowly over time. When you have a chronic disease you MUST consider diet/lifestyle/exercise in addition to the treatments you are trying if you truly want to get better.

This is truely the most tragic part of POIS. If I don't find a solution, I don't know what will happen for my future. It might be just that I would end it all, and before someone tells me don't give up or life's worth living or some non-sense. My case is much more complicated currently and I don't know if I am going to be able to deal with it. I don't condone this and I wish if it was otherwise for me and everyone.
