Bimodal symptoms beginning and end of week post O
« on: December 15, 2018, 11:28:17 PM »
So I treat my symptoms with choline once a day and exercise. I find that gets rid of 90%-100% of the near term symptoms the vast majority of the time.
What it has brought into focus is that the symptoms I see on days 6 and 7 or so are not relieved by choline and exercise ( but still involve speech difficulty among other things). But I can just have another O (and treat with choline/exercise) and these symptoms go away completely. It almost seems like there's a buildup of sorts happening a week post O (treated by O) and a deficiency (treated by choline and exercise) immediately following O. All in all I have working solutions just not sure about an explanation or if highlighting is of interest to others.

Hi TT,

I am glad you have found a way to relieve your POIS symptoms.  For how long choline have been effective for you, now ?   What symptoms does it relief, cognitive and emotional, and physical too?   What stays as the 10% not releived ?

Hi Quantum,
Thank you. I've noted on other posts in detail, but in short:

Symptoms: physical speech dysarthria / mental fog / recall of specific words / challenging to lock eyes / difficulty physically smiling / losing threads of conversation / irritablility

Note: I believe my symptoms to be resulting from a genetic issue in processing choline in a similar way to CMS. I have also observed that too much choline in a day yields the flue like symptoms and tiredness that some of you suffer.

Treatment: All are relieved initially by combination of high heart rate exercise and phosphatadylcholine. Has worked for years at this point. I find choline absorption is better by not taking it the same time as milk.

Present Issue: A form of physical speech challenge comes back at days 6,7 even with choline and exercise. Dropping one or the other has no effect. Another O appears to reset.

The reason I say 90 vs 100 is I do still notice very minor effects on my lips and sometimes my recall of words is not perfect.
