I've had some form of POIS since about the age of 12. I'm now 27, but after lots of research and testing here is my winning mix of ingredients which I urge you to try. Not only do they have a calming effect, but they sharpen my mind and seem to tackle the fogginess head on:
Every morning I take:
Swanson Niacin 500 mg x 6 capsules to improve bloodflow to the brain (anxiety is triggered by poor brain blood flow so this counters this) -

2 x small zinc tablets

All of the above washed down with a very small scoop of N Acetyl L Tyrosine (Acetyl is a carrier and fools the blood brain barrier and thus has a very strong effect of sharpening the mind).
