Sameer,
If your doctor can't adapt and find a suitable adjustment to your sugar levels, you should go to another one.
We should take a lesson from Cornelius, and remember, we may have POIS AND other health problems. We may have POIS which aggravates other prolems which would otherwise be borderline. Or we MAY not even have POIS, but something with similar problems.
So what I would do in your case, is go find a good doctor, and FORGET about POIS for the moment!! We can't forget about POIS forever, but until you get some of your other issues straightened out, there will be too much confusion.
I'm sure that POIS is the type of thing that can trigger otherwise borderline problems. So these borderline things are there and also need to be stabalized. Later, once we have a good handle on what is going one with ourselves, we can get back to POIS.
We here with these forums are working on POIS, so whether you let it go for a little or not, we will be advancing. You can't solve POIS yourself, and you SHOULDN'T be trying all kinds of things at random to fix it either, expecially if there are other things messing up the equation.
Take some effort to find a good doctor to look at what "OTHER THINGS" you may have. Consider both your physical AND mental well being. Start by telling the doctor that you are very confused about your helath situation, and need someone to give you a good evaluation in all areas and get you straightened up.
When he finds certain things, you can tell if he's a good doctor if he can adapt enough to find things that really work. Sure with POIS, you may not be perfect until we straighten up the POIS situation, but at least you will need to work at getting yourself into a clearer and more stable situation, where all the pieces are on the table and the various situations are more or less under better control than now.
It's like when someone who is really overweight wants to have a stomach bypass, the doctor asks that they go on a diet to lose enough weight so that they can operate. They need to be stabalized first.
Maybe you are not going in for a gastric bypass, but you need to be stabalized first.
You'll have to find a doctor you can trust, and then trust him. There are fewer bad ones than there are good ones, so don;t look at them all as being bad.
