Bonjour, La petite mort, and welcome on the forum!

Why do you think your symptoms are of cardiac origin?  Do you have palpitations, or dizziness, or near-fainting, or marked shortness of breath?

I am no expert in evaluating this, but this clear-cut, one-sided symptoms could be neurological in origin, just like in migraine, or in hemiparesis, or when you see one sided neurological symptoms from a pinched nerve in the lumbar or cervical region. I may be all wrong, but that brings you another alternative to consider.  However, this is not typical among POIS sufferers, but your tiredness and your lack of motivation sure are.

You say that you have theses symptoms when tired or stress.  This would tend to show that you have a precise, particular weakness in your body, and when a specific threshold of fatigue/stress/inflammation is reached, you get those symptoms.  POIS seems to cause stress, fatigue and inflammation, so this would be far than enough to reach your "weak point" activation threshold.  ( I feel POIS works quite this same way for me, as I have some minor symptoms following sports, so this activate a bit my own "weak points", and POIS just activate those weaknesses a lot more intensively).

I , as many others here, share your experience that sometime POIS is "lighter', and sometime much nastier, without any particular signs that could help predict the severity of a particualr episode ( that is, when nothing at all is taken in prevention).  Hopefully, some members, including me, have found some ways to obtain a better, lighter outcome on a regular basis.  You will find details on many of these methods on this forum.

You are 100% responsible for what you do with anything I post on this forum and of any consequence it could have for you.  Forum rule: ""Do not use POISCenter as a substitute for, or to give, medical advice" Read the remaining part at http://poiscenter.com/forums/index.php?topic=1.msg10259#msg10259
