Prolactin theory and prolactin lowering drugs
« on: October 17, 2022, 09:51:10 PM »
I personally doubt this is the case, however, it makes me wonder because my symptoms onset so quickly after orgasm, especially multiple orgasms. If I were to space them out weeks to months apart and only have them when extremely horny and via sex, my POIS is remotely manageable. But if I do them back to back days, or multiple in a row, I am wiped out beyond belief. When this happens I often can't get an erection and my flaccid size is shriveled up and my libido is gone, as well as my morning wood. After a long period of abstaining, these come back.

I have tried the otc stuff for prolactin such as p5p and E. They don't really help. I am considering trialing cabergoline and pramipexole to see if they do anything useful. Thoughts?

My POIS symptoms tend to be extreme fatigue, depression, apathy, awkwardness, eye strain, zero motivation, like every bit of dopamine was sucked out of me and prolactin through the roof.

Have you actually tested your prolcatin to see if that's  really the case?

I did years ago, but not anywhere near an orgasm. It was normal.
