I tried to stop for years, and there was really only one thing that helped me at all: breathing meditations. What these consist of is calming your mind down and emptying it of thoughts by focusing on your breathing. When I first started looking for ways to stop orgasming I was doing full-on meditations every day, because it really gives you terrific control over your mind and helps you focus. Its benefits increased my productivity and allowed me to keep my mind from turning to sex so often. If I were you, I'd give developing a strong and consistent meditation practice some serious thought.
Once you've been meditating for a few months, you can stop meditating and just take the elements of it that are needed to break your dependence on orgasms. I, for instance, used to go into a brief (10 seconds, about) breathing meditation everytime I thought about pornography or sex. (I was addicted to porn for like 6 years.) Now that i've got my mind under control, I only feel the urge to mastrubate about once a week.
I've said that i'd like to give a brief primer on meditation on this forum but haven't done it because I don't know if people are interested. Think there'd be interest? Also, I feel like there really needs to be a place for the posters that have had success with abstention to share our tips. Maybe i'll do this next week...
