Good effects from green tea
« on: March 14, 2014, 09:28:03 PM »
Hello all and sorry I haven't been on in a while.  Recent changes for me is that I have introduced green tea (1 cup) in the morning to my regular diet.  I have noticed that it helps with my mood even if I did not sleep well.  It has a bit of caffeine so that may be responsible.  But green tea is actually really good for the immune system, bacteria/viruses, and inflammation.  It contains EGCG which is able to cross the blood-brain barrier and settle down inflammation.  It also has many other benefits.  Overall I have been feeling pretty good on this new regimen.  I use celestial green tea that also contains white tea.  I plan on continuing to use this for the next coming weeks/months.

GLC over and out

*** update, switched to decaf celestial green tea 1 cup every morning.

Excellent post GLC! I often sip green tea (both cold & hot) because of the health benefits you mentioned, and the fact that it tastes verrry good. I'm definitely going to try that type of green tea you mentioned, and I bet I'll really enjoy that one too. Thank you!

This stuff has been really working for me lately.  I had an orgasm session last weekend and did not notice POIS at all besides a tired feeling that you should normally get after sex.  Of course I also used my OLE pills and I also have to wait for the "placebo" affect to be over with but all I can say is I am feeling pretty good on this and I am also someone who is somewhat sensitive to caffeine.  By the way I no longer take OLE every day only when I "O".  Been drinking this stuff for the past 2-3 weeks and everything has improved so far, even my focus and brain fog.  I had exams last week and they went by smoothly.  Make sure you get the right brand because I tried matcha the other day and that tea is just too strong for me, possibly containing too much caffeine.

Later

** edit,  this is the type of green tea I am currently consuming.

I actually found it at my dining hall and have been using it there every morning, and also take some packs with me so I don't really know what the box looks like.  But the teabag covers say "Celestial seasonings (Authentic) green tea with white tea and smooth taste".  It also says "contains caffeine" on the teabag cover, so I'm pretty sure it's not the decaf version of that.

After spending loads on supplements I found out that the only thing that works is abstinence. Full stop. And it's free.
Meditation if done correctly is great too.
Also avoiding computers produce faster recoveries and fewer temptations.

Hey GLS,

can I ask you which brand of OLE are you using?

Can you see it in this list?

Thanks
P.

hey poiseidon, prancer is right, here is the link to the olive leaf extract that I use about 30-45 minutes prior to "O".  I take about 4 of those pills before "O" and 2 after.  I weigh 150 lbs ish

** By the way guys, I switched to the decaf version of celestial green tea.  The caffeinated version made me feel good but I am a little sensitive to the caffeine . . . I believe it was keeping me more awake at night than I'd like to be.  I think my body has trouble getting caffeine out my my system so it stays in me for a while.  Today was the first day that I have tried the decaf version and have felt pretty good.  Definitely a lot less noticeable caffeine but than again the other contents in the tea are still very good for you.  I will update sometime in the future.

I can't see the pic of celestial green tea, the resolution is too low...just kidding!  ;)

Now that I see what it looks like, I'm pretty sure I know where to get it. I definitely recognize it and probably had it in the past. And BTW I also believe I'm sensitive to caffeine because it seems to stay in me a long time. Example, after drinking something with a lot of caffeine like an energy drink or something with espresso, I feel more focused and mood boosted during the day, but when bedtime comes it's very hard to fall asleep. Then I will have to take a sleeping pill to get to sleep or else I'd be very tired when I awake.
