Dendritic Cell Therapy

Bit of an outside-the-box thinking but I was wondering if this new cancer therapy could be applied to POIS for a POIS solution?

After looking Dr.Waldingers article which says
"..It is suggested that during this contact ..(with the inner mucosal epithelium).., antigen(s) of semen and/or seminal fluid is recognized by dendritic cells in the epithelium, which after having taking up the antigen(s) wander to T-cell zones of lymph nodes, where they present the seminal fluid antigen(s) to naive T-cells after which the whole cascade of ...POIS .. develops.."

What is DC Therapy?
Dendritic Cell (DC) Therapy or so-called Dendritic Cell vaccine is a newly emerging and potent form of immune therapy used to treat cancer, AIDS and other serious conditions. In case of cancer, Dendritic Cell therapy is an immune therapy which harnesses the body's own immune system to fight cancer. I have thought for instance, that this very situation ( although I didn't know the reality of it and the "actors") was the cause for why we seem to have ever more stronger reactions with repeated "orgasms" too close together. Thinking that perhaps if we are clean after 3 wks let's say and have an "O", the invading force does not overwhealm the "Dentritic Cell System", butif we continue hammering our systems, we overcome it and the battle takes longer to overcome the invaders.

Whether I have any idea or not of what I'm talking about, it really does seem plausable that this treatment method could be very effective.

I wonder though, would it be a treatment we would have to apply upon the onset of each session? If so, then perhaps the cost would be prohibitive.

Any comments that may set my thinking straight?

Not sure if I understand correctly, but it seems this new therapy is designed to increase and strengthen the immune response. Wouldn't this be a bad thing for POIS patients since the immune response to semen is what theoretically causes our symptoms? Or are you thinking that by using these special dendritic cells the immune system might be able to react in such a way that it doesn't cause POIS symptoms? Or perhaps by adapting the therapy for POIS to reduce these dendritic cells the therapy might be able to pinpoint and stop the immune reaction to semen?

Hopefully horizon has something more definitive, but my intuition says that it could be similar to the same type of reaction that Demo feels with testostrone, in that the strengthened attack force would allow the process to terminate more quickly thereby reducing the suffereing.

Obviosuly this seems different than it would be with cancer, in the case of cancer, perhaps the cells are harder to reach and distinguish, but once killed, they are gone. In the case of POIS, every time we ejaculated, we initiate a whole new reaction.

Could be a drawback for us unless the process could be synthesized or at least made less costly.
