New Problem ( for member Swell) now that his POIS is gone
« on: January 22, 2023, 11:01:43 AM »
Swell's post moved here from another unrelated thread for better visibility:

hope everyone is doing great here, apologize if I am hijacking this thread.  In the past 2 yrs or so, I do not experience pois anymore (due to various interventions/supplements).  I think resolution of pois created a new dilemma for me, a new bad habit of practicing multiple ejacs daily.  I feel like a loaded gun, it is torture to with hold, and offcourse enjoyable to experience.  I have no refractory period and this high frequency, I now feel like compromised - it is not acceptable to me, its not acceptable for general health, and importantly it is not good for ones lifespan either.  I am experiencing hair graying and requiring reading glasses, issues I did not ever experience before, I am attributing it to this new bad habit (its bad mechanistically, as sperm does steal vital resources away from soma, specially in us Poisers).  By chance, any insights appreciated:

1) At a cellular level, how is orgasm (i.e. no ejac) different from ejac.  I cannot find ANY research paper on it?.   I would speculate that in pure o. you would not loose germline progenitors and therefore ones body may not require their proliferation.  Thus ejac. being more resource hog/intensive compared to an o.

2) what could be some pharmacological interventions to inhibit this germline proliferation needs.  Offcourse there are soft approaches (like keeping busy, goal oriented, bla bla, so you forget about ejac), and then there is some surgical intervention - which maybe would be 100% effective in taking away this urge altogether, I don't know.  But would there be something maybe milder, reversible, maybe some healthy herb?

Ok, I missed it, could someone provide a link to the post describing these supplements? Thank you!
Male, INTJ. POIS symptoms: red eyes, ear-pain, anxiety, speech problems, pale/ugly skin, stiff neck, double chin, tinnitus, light sensitivity. POIS even after stimulation without O.

I didn't find any, dizzy.  I think that swell has not described on the forum his method for controlling his POIS symptoms.  I hope he will share more details on this in this thread ( Could you give us more details, swell ?)

And, swell, about your new "overdoing" habit, part of it may be an overreaction to the time you had POIS.  You may have an accumulated frustration from your POIS years that express itself this way, unconsciously, like trying to compensate for those "lost years".  Because usually, at some point, men will feel they have their share, and obviously, with work, kids, and responsibilities, not many people could hold a frequency like yours, and I mean, men without POIS  ( It is just not possible, with POIS).  You must have exceptionally good physical stamina, probably still young, unless you would be in burnout and would have a hard time doing anything else in your days.

But just because you could does not mean you should.  As you have realized, you are burning the candle at both ends.  And, I am not sure it only has to do with losing semen.  Orgasms in themselves are energy consuming, in order to produce this kind of fireworks in the brain and body.
