Effect on Cryotherapy
« on: February 18, 2018, 09:29:13 PM »
It is day 4 after POIS and I am bed ridden (close).   I had whole body cryotherapy treatment 8 hour after POIS.  It was suppose to help on inflamation and give energy.   Fingers are tingling burning still and feet too.   Arms are weak barely can lift them as if cryotherapy sucked all energy.   I am pale yellow like jaundice.  Tried Niacin 500mg and I am getting heavy flush which normal I dont get.  My advice try cryotherapy with some caution.  If anyone has experience please share.

I tried cryotherapy before sexual activity. I felt great after the therapy, but it did not help me with POIS. Maybe because the effect only lasts for 8 hours. I will try cryotherapy a few more times. Not for POIS, but just to feel better when I am out of POIS. The cold feeling is over just a minute when you are out of the cabin.
POIS since 2000. Very bad since 2008. I knew that I have POIS since June 2010. Desensitization since March 2011. I stopped with desens in July 2016. I have 50% less POIS. And only 1 day of POIS. Purified CBD works for me, but I am allergic for CBD.

wow, congrats Vandermolen, that is good to know.  Can you share, your general health, are you under/normal/or over-weight etc?

Note that my only symptoms are back + cervical pain.

I tried whole body cryotherapy and it helps with the inflammation. I had some reduction of inflammation at maybe 35% when done twice a week and a lower reduction (15%) at once a week.
Unfortunately the only clinic of my town currently had issues with their machine and it's unavailable for a few months.

Cryotherapy had no effect on me: i tried it for the manifold tendinitisses i'm suffering of but no effect neither on them nor on my POIS symptoms
