Anti depressants
« on: February 24, 2021, 01:01:17 PM »
Does anyone take any?
I was advised by my doctor to take these.
Has anyone seen any improvements if they have?
Thanks
Neil

I tried this route and it caused further problems in me that i didn't have before. Now I've been told by a mast cell specialist that all psychiatric drugs are very dangerous for me due to all my gene mutations. Too late now the damage has already been done....

I advise you to stop relying on your NHS gp they are a waste of time and won't help you fix these problems. I've already been there and done that. Even if you see a specialist on the NHS they won't be able to trial any good medications on you as they are only allowed to prescribe drugs for known conditions that have gone through clinical trials. Maybe if you get really lucky you could see a good specialist on the NHS who could be helpful but I doubt it.

Theres one antidepressant that helped one person called milnacipran but you would have to get that from overseas its not licensed in the UK.

I was prescribed Cipralex for OCD. I now believe my (mild) OCD is connected to POIS as it correlates in strength with some of the other symptoms. Cipralex did literally nothing for my OCD, but also didn't make me worse in any noticeable way.

Please note that different anti-depressants can have very very different effects on your body! This was just my experience with Cipralex in particular.

Personally I get a mini-depression when I have a bad POIS episode. I've had clinical depression before and it feels exactly like that, but only lasts a week or so. Seems pointless and potentially dangerous to experiment with anti-depressants for something that (in my case at least) clearly isn't a normal case of depression IMHO.

Thank you clues
Their seems to be quite alot of different symptoms that are linked with pois.
It's funny when you google depression and ejaculation it facts that that ejaculation does not cause depression and there is no link. I think their hiding something as always.
