Few questions to those who have treated POIS with diet
« on: June 13, 2020, 12:01:03 AM »
Hello. I'd appreciate if someone who has managed their POIS with diet answered me these 3 questions.

1) What diet are you on?

2) Are you taking any supplements?

3) Can you orgasm freely now with no symptoms? Multiple times a day?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I think this is a too high goal even for non-POIS people. Maybe fine for someone below 25 fresh in love with another being (not masturbation).

I don't think it's an unreasonable goal.
Before I developed POIS I could orgasm 2- 3 times a day with no symptoms. Not everyday but still.

10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

I believe you can manage POIS with diet, though there are some peculiarities involved.  I believe POISers metabolic system is severely congested leading to a constant borderline energy crisis, and ejaculation specifically exceeding that threshold leading to your body entering a freeze/standby mode where only the most critical functions are kept turned on.  So the trick lies in SHOCKING your metabolic system.

For me the turning point was dissected natural thyroid extract (for a limited period) coupled with a super healthy diet (all good fats, scarce carbs, limited proteins).  B vitamins, specially Folinic acid as regular supplements.  That said, I'm not a doc, use this for your research.

As for orgasms, dont be fooled by the vocabulary.  Orgasms do not cause POIS.  Ejaculation causes POIS.  For me, its 6-7/week.

No it reduces symptoms. But never 100% all the time.
