Perrin Technique
« on: August 21, 2020, 04:12:43 PM »
I am doing The Perrin technique currently which is a special osteopathic lymphatic drainage treatment for chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, its actually the first treatment that has had successful trials in the NHS for chronic fatigue syndrome, and the NHS are meant to be useless for treating chronic fatigue.

https://www.thevillageosteopaths.co.uk/the-perrin-technique

This treatment definitely helps my brain fog a lot when I practice it every day, in-fact one specific exercise works for me the best: massage with  knuckles the lymph nodes in your groin all the way up to the inner chest for twenty seconds, then do the same with middle chest, then finally with outer chest, be firm with the pressure and use coconut oil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ESXf9PL0_Q

After doing this exercise a large thrush rash appears around the lymph nodes in my groin which wasn't there before which indicates to me the lymph nodes in that area are clogged with yeast maybe.

I don't have fatigue as a symptom but I would definitely give it a try if I had chronic fatigue

I need to try this technique before an O but I'm pretty sure it will make the symptoms a lot better, as I have tried castor oil packs which is a similar concept and that helped a lot but this is much more area specific.

The osteopath identified abnormalities in my thoracic spine for me which is the main indicator in the Perrin technique for nervous system overload and lymphatic system malfunction

Info: The causes of ME/CFS are not yet fully understood but through Dr Perrin’s research he discovered that the probable cause for ME and CFS is nervous system overload.

This overload is the result of stresses on the body which causes a build-up of toxins in the fluid around the brain and the spinal cord.

These stresses can be emotional, physical trauma, viral, environmental and infective, and ususally a combination of these.

The result of this is a break down of the lymphatic system and therefore the build-up of poisons.

In ME and CFS sufferer the normal drainage points have become congested causing this back up of toxins which irritate the brain, spinal cord and tissues causing the wide range of symptoms suffered.

The Perrin Technique™ gives an immediate diagnosis after the patient's first physical examination, rather than the diagnosis of ME and/or CFS being a process of elimination, as seen in mainstream medicine.

The Perrin Technique determines ME is a result of different stress factors on the body cause an overstrain of the sympathetic nervous system leading to lymphatic breakdown and toxic build-up.

Dr Perrin has discovered definite physical signs common to all ME and CFS sufferers and he has provided a small article on the physical signs of ME/CFS - which you can read here.

Your osteopath will give an indication on the severity of your condition and outline a treatment plan with the aim of getting you symptom free.

Toxic Brains, Frozen Spines and the Perrin Point: Ray Perrin, ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia

"Perhaps only an osteopath ? a doctor specializing in structural problems ? could have come to Perrin?s conclusion. He believes that toxic overload in the brain, caused by a malfunctioning sympathetic nervous system, causes distinct physical signs in the upper bodies of ME/CFS/FM patients."
"Perrin hypothesized that blocked or congested lymphatic drainage pathways in ME/CFS and FM were causing toxins to build up in the central nervous system. That toxin buildup was disturbing the hypothalamus, which, in turn, was causing sympathetic nervous system problems."
"Noting the specificity some viruses have for certain tissues, he proposes that the viruses involved in ME/CFS may be attacking the sympathetic nerves in the upper chest and lumbar regions.  Several herpes viruses are known to hang out in the nerve ganglia found just outside of the spine."

"The Perrin Point is a tender point about 2 to 3 cm to the left and 2 to 3 cm above your left nipple. It?s also generally found between in the third intercostal space between the third and fourth ribs (counting from the top)."

In this poll, around 60% of people say they feel pain when pressing that perrin point.

Found it, no pain.

I used to go to a chiropractor (2019). They would do a lot of different back and neck massages to increase fluid flow. I've always wondered if the chiropractor was helping with lymphatic fluid flow. I would usually feel better the day after a massage. I'm not sure if it had any effect on POIS.
POIS clusters: 1,3,4,5,7
POIS criteria: 1,2,3,4,5
2 stacks that give me complete relief of POIS symptoms are listed here: POIS cure: theory & supplement stack
