Chronic headaches

H everyone,

I have had chronic headaches since around the age of 14/15. I have a headache all the time. After an sexual activity the headache gets worse. The only thing that helps is complete abstinence from all sexual activity which is hard to achieve. Interestingly, wet dreams aren't half as bad. I'm wondering if I have POIS. I really want to get to the bottom of this. Admittedly I did masturbate to excess when younger and am wondering if it would clear up with a few months not masturbating, a clean break or some sort of reboot. Thanks

10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business

Hi James,

What you describe is often experienced by members for different conditions:   a chronic problem ( like your headaches) that gets worse during a POIS attack.   For others, it is dermatological problem, or anxiety, or many different conditions.

Do you have other additional "new" symptoms during POIS attack, apart from worsening your chronic headache ?

If that is the complete picture then it's unlikely you have POIS in my honest opinion.
I think it's closer to something like sexual headache or orgasmic migraine aura:

Chronic 24/7 tension like headache, might be migraine. Gets better with abstinence from sexual activity
