Breathelessness From POIS?
« on: August 09, 2019, 10:26:41 PM »
I?ve been suffering for POIS symptoms for years involving mostly stomach related isssues but also fatigue and tremors/shakiness. Lately I?ve noticed becoming out of breathe easier in the days after orgasming. Currently going through tests with my GP to investigate but was curious if it might be related to POIS as it seems to improve the longer I go without orgasm. Anyone else experienced something similar?

Hi and welcome,
I have all these symptoms. Not sure stomach problems are related to orgasm, in my case.

- For tremors, I recommand to try to add more salt in your food and take 1 cap of magnesium at 16 and another at 19. Mg and Cl works for me.

- I have minor breathing troubles and heartbeat after orgasm. I recommand to avoid sugar, to reduce carbs and chose the best ones, to increase proteins and take 500mg of taurine before orgasm.

- For stomach problems, I'm not sure so I prefer to avoid to answer for  now.

I have severe fatigue and exercise intolerance day 1 and 2 after O. And less severe the rest of the time.
Can only walk a few feet, then have to catch my breath. Improves the longer it has been since O.
Simultaneous onset of CFS and POIS since Feb 1993. Married since 1989.

Helped by Immunocal (I explained how to take in previous posts).  Some relief on day one and day two.  It affects neurotransmitters.

my latest theory is that we have leaking gut and after orgasm some chemical leaks through the gut into the bloodstream which does something that makes breathing less functional

but just a thought
i'm no doctor

Breathlessness can be a symptom of mass cell activation syndrom, which I believe to be the cause of many POIS cases.

Mushnikk, welcome to the forum!
10 years of significant POIS-reduction, treatment consisting of daily (365 days/year) testosterone patches.

TRT must be checked out carefully with your doctor due to fertility, cardiac and other risks.

40+ years of severe 4-days-POIS, married, raised a family, started/ran a business
